I only got the four last night ($7.50 each?!?!?!) since they didn't have the Pterodactyl (I've only seen a single one in my Walmart since they came out). I know it's not much but I've been wanting these for about 30 years now, I don't think I'll start a massive collection but it's nice to at least be in the Cool Kids Club finally!

Husband collects as a hobby & our 4yr old son has shown interest in Power Rangers. Proud Dada moment showing him some of the stuff he has 😂

Managed to get five of them. Surprised the new dragon zord (2nd photo, right) is slightly smaller than the OG (2nd photo, left) and that they’re about the same size (3rd photo, OG center, new right, Dino Megazord left for size comparison).

Any pointers for tracking down the tigerzord?

Update: found a Walmart with a tigerzord about 35 miles away. Picking it up tonight.

Update 2: Walmart cancelled the pickup order. Not enough inventory.

Power rangers is by far my favorite franchise/show/comics. To me, they are the perfect superheroes and embody what it means to be a hero in so many ways. I'm so thankful I was born ('92) and raised when I was because just a couple years earlier or later, I might have not got to experience the impact it had on me as a kid. *Not pictured is the playmates thunderzord and figures I just picked up.... I need more shelves.

I found a complete display case at Target and bought them all. The first wave is the six rangers, Rita, and the Putty Patroller. The case has 2 of each figure.

• I'm back again with some detailed pictures of the newly-released Playmates Thunder Megazord. Aside from the odd-shaped helmet and somewhat not needed gimmicks, this is a solid piece with very sturdy joints. <3
• I've included some comparison photo with the Legacy and DX/SSA version. And of course at the end is a "temporary fix" for the helmet, which fit nicely with some blutack, spot on! ;)
• I'll post pictures of the Mega Tigerzord later, so don't ask where they are. xD

Now i need tigerzord power to complete the set 🙂

Hey all. Checking in with Lord Zedd. About 90% complete. Myself and u/GrimalkinLegionnaire have been working on him the last week or so. Just getting his life support hoses next. They will NOT be lazily draped over him like yesteryear. Oh no. These are going to go in and out of his muscle mass. Body horror. (Dont give me that look. The guy is already walking around with no skin).

We also took some liberties with his armor. Whoever originally designed him was getting away with their poorly disguised fetish. We gave him some real shoulders (dunno what was going on with the poor bastard who originally wore the costume, but he had like... negative shoulders). We also integrated his banana hammock into something more.... practical? Can't have Lord Zedd running around in a pair of dadundaduns. Not on my watch.

Lord Zedd features:

Rubberized, but stiff joints to prevent wear, snapping, and gravity woes.

Two sets of hands/fists

Z Staff (also rubberized and flexible, to prevent breakage)

12.5 inch tall (to pair with the dozens of Megazords through the years)

He will also come with lightning effects for the staff.

Also pictured is Goldar.

Goldar is on etsy now as "Golden Power Warrior" and "Grifforzer". He features a fully expandable wingspan system. A pose-able tail. He is also 13 inches tall, to face off with Zords on display.

Zedd will be up by Monday with the tags "Evil Power Emperor" and "Rōdo Zeddo"

This one was tricky to build, especially to fit in so many figures, but I think I more or less managed. It looks a bit too busy, but it’ll do.
So, remember how I said in my last diorama that I wanted Billy to be part of the action? Well, here he is again, as the white zeo ranger. He always deserved to keep on being a ranger. It’s a custom I always wanted to make, and it was quite a lot fun to do. Enjoy!

Though declining in quality and quantity over its last few years of cycle, plus price was repeatedly increased with too many unwanted and duplicated figures and so many teams left incompleted, the Lightning Collection to me was some nice wind of changes for a mass-collecting Power Rangers figures. It's truly disappointing that we've lost PR/SS action figures line one after another.

I'll now stay satisfied with 19 completed teams (not counting duplicates). For other teams, later then, as I'm now shifting focus to another line of figures. <3

A very solid piece come from Flame Toys, the Go! Karakuri Combine Dragonzord is one of my most favourite Zords released over the recent years. Aside from premium design, details and paints, it also has one of the most complex but very satisfying transformation process, with 3 different forms when combining with the Dino Megazord. But one thing I didn't like about this one is that some joints are too tight, and too many sharp tips for placing around my kid. Otherwise, it is a must-have for collectors out there. ;)

I am really excited about my first purchase from RangersForge. I'm still trying to work out the chain and attaching it to the hammer, but this figure is superb!

Initially I wanted to kitbash it with the clear phantom ranger, then a metallic mighty morphin black.. but now I am seeing that the real answer is to

Kitbash it with a metallic white ranger and swap the boots for diamond shaped mighty morphin boots.
