Found these beauties from a local thrift store today. I see them marked up at vintage consignment stores, but I haven’t seen any in the wild until today. My grandma had the predominantly brown set. I know these plates have seen so many meals, and they’re washed and put in my cupboard just waiting to see another meal. I got 7 of the brown dinner plates, 7 of the same pattern dessert plates, then 4 of the others for $44.

I was looking for trinkets at a local consignment thrift/collectible store. Found this cute jar. Thought it was heavy/sturdy and misread the price tag. Kept it anyway. Googled it and found out it’s a Viking candy dish. No wonder it gave me such a serotonin boost.

I haven’t decorated a cake in a while, but I really wanted to make a heart layer cake for my daughter’s 27th tomorrow. Def learned some lessons and need to get the few piping tips I’m missing. Anyway, my daughter is very earthy and the green made the most sense. Can’t wait to do a black on black.
