Areas to check out UES

I go on a daily walk in the evenings since I moved here (usually down 3rd and 2nd Avenue from 96-86 street). What other parts of the upper east side should I walk around that would be worth it to explore?

Living closer to 96 street.

This team can surprise this year

Obviously the Jets have been bad for a long time, but this is as talented a team as I’ve seen since the first Aaron Rodgers year (or even the Fitzpatrick year). Not saying this team will make the playoffs but I think the ceiling if they play really well is 8 or 9 wins. Most likely will still be in that 4-7 win range, but just a thought.

Wide Receivers look solid; as long as Breece is back for week 1 the RB room is very good, our DL is revamped along with the rest of the defense, and obviously we have a young energetic tight end room. Not saying it will happen, but if Geno gives us 3,300 yards, 25 TDs and 15 Ints why can’t we win 8 games this year.

4i vs Driver vs 5 wood

I just bought a 4 iron and it is going about 215-220 carry with 230 rollout. My 5 wood goes about the same and my driver goes about 235 carry with 250 rollout.

My question is should I just sell my 5 wood roll with a 4i through sand wedge and just use my 4i as my fairway finder club? The dispersion is not as crazy as with my 5 wood and I can obviously use it out of the rough. Only thing is my 5 wood is my only fairway wood leaving my driver being the only other wood in the bag. What should I replace it with if I did? I was thinking about mini driver to finish my bag, but the 4 iron changes things. Also don’t have a lob wedge (have trouble using one).

My bag right now:
Driver
5 wood
4 iron
5 iron
6 iron
7 iron
8 iron
9 iron
Pitching Wedge
A Wedge
Gap Wedge
Sand Wedge
Putter

Does anyone else think money-ball ruined this team and is ruining baseball in general?

I’m not that old m, I’m 30 but when I was younger Batting Average, Wins and RBIs actually mattered. Now all we care about is if people walk (god forbid a guy get a clutch hit with a runner on second or third) or hit homeruns. Alonso had some down seasons but he also not only hit homeruns, he had some monster RBI seasons. But because the front office believes that he isn’t going to be as good in 2 years, which btw there is nothing pointing us in that direction, we just assume because he’s older than 30 he’s going to get 10x worse.

But anyways, anyone who has ever played sports in their life knows the best strategy is usually more simple than we all think it should be. Over reliance and over complicating baseball with analytics, creation of new stats, and different strategies may seem forward thinking and some of it may be but I think with all this new data, our front office has lost sight of how baseball is actually played. Clearly our scouting department doesn’t know how to evaluate a player rather just what their stats say about them and maybe project how their future seasons will be, which is like playing the stock market rather than evaluating an athlete.
