Redshift project Canvas sff case.

A while I back I posted some in progress pics straight off a CNC mill of a wooden distro I was working on. Wanted to give you folks an update.

After much discussion with everyone, I opted to seal the inside of the distro with 2 coats of epoxy. The inside is basically plastic. I also epoxied the top and then sanded it down flat so the o rings would seal. The rest of the wood that won't be submerged is finished with Osmo.

The acrylic top is milled, the o rings are made, and finally the screws came in.

She's ready for leak testing! I'm probably going to fill it and let it just sit there/run for a couple weeks before putting it into the build just to make sure the wood isn't expanding anywhere and leaks aren't forming. Basically testing the epoxy is everywhere it needs to be.

So I've been working on this for some time, and it finally came together recently! I'm pretty thrilled with how this turned out.

It's an Intel 10700f paired with an Intel arc b580 and 32gb ddr4. Pretty solid little machine for getting into light gaming and photo/video editing. I was very surprised at how quiet it is even under load, and the performance of the b580 is pretty good too!

Put this together for my wife. She's pretty thrilled with it. Light gaming and just general use machine with a minimalist aesthetic.

I decided to try something new and milled myself a distro plate from cherry wood. I know wood isn't compatible with liquid, I plan to seal it up with epoxy to make it waterproof. I also still need to mill the acrylic top and pump mount, so still a work in progress. What do you guys think?
