Had to trade quite a bit for it, including an obsidian flames zard psa 10 and lugia neo genesis psa 7, but such an awesome card!

A swirl on his fist is a cherry on top, I feel this card is so heavily underrated, it’s one of my favorites of the ex era. Prices are all over the place with this card, but I feel like I haven’t seen many in this condition for this cheap.

Got this card for 86 at my LCS, I’ve been looking for this card for a minute and finally found one that’s decent priced and in good condition. I might grade it regardless since I think this card will ramp in value over time, I think it’s incredibly slept on

I feel like it should easily PSA 10, but the question is do I send it to Beckett and try to go for the black label. The centering is pretty much 50/50 all around and no whitening from what I can tell.

Centering is close to perfect, no whitening that I can tell, no scratches, I don’t see anything stopping this from being a 10. The question is do I go with PSA or do I try and go for the potential black label?

If it wasn’t for that speck I might try and shoot for that Beckett 10, because I don’t really see anything else on the card

I think of the three, steelix and Kyogre might be the most worthwhile to grade, Rayquaza doesn’t look really bad, but some of the corners/edges on the back give me a little pause. All three look really good from the front.

I just don’t want them to give it a new grade potentially. I’ve heard stories of that happening, and I’d rather have a damaged slab of a 10 then a 9. As far as I can tell, the card wasn’t damaged when I dropped.

Traded a prismatic Vaporeon SIR, Arceus VStar, Darkrai VStar plus a couple hundred more in trade value to pick up this bad boy I think it was worth it imo. I had a German version of this card awhile back but lost it in a house fire, so it’s awesome to have one back.

It’s a PSA 8 btw, I can’t tell for sure if it’s two or just one big one, but it looks different than other swirls I got.
