Nothing says "let's keep Cowser going" like benching him the day after his first homer of the season

I get the numbers vs lefties. I get that Albernaz is running the lineup the way Elias tells him to.

But DEAR MIKE! Here's a fun stat: Colton Cowser hit a 113.3 mph home run yesterday. His FIRST of the year. The kind of performance we’ve been waiting for since Opening Day. The kind of moment a struggling hitter can build off.

The response? Bench him. AGAIN. MOO HISS.

Sometimes you gotta trust the human, not the analytic.

We're down 16-5 right now, so consider this less a hot take and more a scream into the Warehouse Void.

I feel like every time I check the score it’s the 6th inning and the O’s only have 1 hit.
