Bridge Program Acceptance

Hi everyone,

Today I was more than surprised when Lilly Direct notified me that I was accepted into the Medicare Bridge Program. After several denials due to mistakes made by my PCPs office with submissions they finally got the PA corrected. I had given up hope after two months of trying.

I'm thrilled but wanted to say that PreventiveMD was absolutely fantastic with every aspect of my order and if I have need again in the future I'll be heading their way. I really enjoyed chatting with you all and best of luck on your journey!

JM21 + LHDC + Roseelsa Ceramics Ultra

I can't seem to trigger LHDC on this DAP with the Ceramic U buds. I have both devices in LHDC mode but they'll only connect using AAC.

In DEV options the codecs aren't listed but they are listed in settings>audio which is checked for LHDC. I don't have any other buds which support LHDC to test with. The buds will connect to the LHDC One dongle with much trouble but that is not optimal and shouldn't be necessary with this DAP.

Anyone get this combo to work?

Yes, I can use LDAC but just curious about LHDC and I have the latest firmwares and the Roselink app installed on the JM21.

Luckily I bought both of these items from Aliexpress on sale for cheap or I'd be a little upset. The buds support LHDC and LHDC LL if in game mode. Connecting them was a tad tricky but I managed to get them paired. I wasn't able to achieve 192/24, best was 96/24 and switching to LL it was 48/24 even with Android SRC bypassed by UAPP. Perhaps user error but I'll try on my tablet instead of my DAP tonight.

Despite all the connection hassles the real disappointment was the Ceramic Ultra itself. It's probably the worst tuned buds I've tried and I had to eq the heck out of them to get rid of the tinny sound. Guess I'll be sticking with my Soundpeats H3 and good ole LDAC or APTX Adaptive until I can find better buds for the LHDC One dongle. Keeping in mind YMMV with the buds but to me they are sub par.

Edit: After changing the tips, eqed and putting several hours in on these they have mellowed out quite a bit and sound much better. Not bad at all for the low price. Guess I jumped the gun but out of the box they were not ideal. Must have patience with these buds.

Just got this in today and it takes me back to my iPod Touch but on steroids. So easy to setup and the UI is smooth and quite fast considering. I had the 3g model a few years ago and gave it to my granddaughter so this 4g/128 model replaces it.

I'm just hoping the battery issue has been addressed with this version but I never had a problem with the older one. I'm not doing a review here just excited to have this DAP again. I'm waiting on some iems and a case but for now it pairs nicely with my USB headphones and Peats H3. Using UAPP as music player and BT-W6. So far so good.
