Is it realistic to learn rpg maker from minimal programming experience, and have a demo for a papers please/ scritchy scratchy inspired game within ~7 months?

planning on a project for a video-game design competition thats part of a class im taking. Also im not even sure if a clean mechanic ( where you ’clean off’ pixels of grime until the object is clean) is possible in rpg maker.

Anyone else getting crashes on startup lately?

I've tried to play the latest version of the game on steam, using airlink with a quest 3 and steamvr, and i get crashes on startup. I use no mods, have deleted all my saves, wiped and reinstalled the game, etc. and the problem persists. All other games, VR or otherwise function fine. Just asking here to see if others have the issue and its something that's not my fault (meta update, drivers, steanvr, etc) or if anyone can offer solutions

i use a 5070 ti, amd 7600x, and 32 gb cl 32 6000 mhz ram.
