Warming up for a new comic project
I just decided to sit and doodle and let the ideas come to me.

I just decided to sit and doodle and let the ideas come to me.
So I pre-ordered The Eye 4k when it was announced. I moved house to a different county last year, in August, and the pre-order dropped way after this.
I know this because the delivery details on my Arrow account list my current address, and I never changed the order.
They somehow delivered this to my old address. I know this, because the dispatch email showed my old address, despite what the order info on the website showed.
My address book on the account *only* has my current address, as I made sure to delete the old one.
My payment account also has my current address.
I was pretty careful about changing all of this information, because I don't drive and have no way of getting to my old address without at least an hour's travel each way on the train and bus. I'm also not sure if anyone is even at the address anymore.
And the quirkiest part of this, is that the tracking info for the order never worked. I didn't get the normal Royal Mail updates for delivery either, just the dispatch email.
They were quick to issue me a refund, and I'm going to pick it up as soon as I can, but I'm really worried about future orders, and when I contacted them, I've heard nothing back.
The dispatch email for my Nightbreed 4K shows my current address, but I'm still cautious. I order a lot from arrow, and have had several orders to this address already, so I don't understand what the hell happened.
Has anyone else experienced something like this?
I (M38) have been suffering with migraines since I was 9. They get worse when I’m stressed, but can also strike seemingly at random.
I’ve tried just about everything that the NHS have offered. Off the top of my head, besides over the counter medicines and home remedies , I’ve been prescribed Migard, beta blockers, candesartan, rimepegant, topiramate, and many assorted anti-inflammatory medications, sedatives and anti-anxiety medications. As well as extensive relaxation therapy, CBT and yoga.
Topiramate was the best I’d ever had, but would become ineffective after about 6 months, so I would take a break for a couple of months and go back on them (under my neurologist’s advisement).
Unfortunately, the prolonged usage may have caused kidney stones, so I’m having to stay off them for now.
As a result, my migraines have gotten practically unbearable, to the point that I’m not even really able to work from home, as the computer becomes way too much to look at for long.
I use my phone sparingly, and the brightness control and dark modes help a lot.
I’m an art director, so having unreliable vision is a pretty huge hindrance to my career. Not even my glasses are helping.
My symptoms have gotten steadily worse, and greater in frequency and number.
When I started getting migraines, it was usually just light sensitivity, left side headache, with some nausea.
Over the years, the pain has become one or both sides, and there’s no rhyme or reason that I can make sense of.
The nausea becomes constant.
I started getting vestibular migraines in 2020, which causes vertigo, imbalance and blasts of tinnitus (often low level tinnitus at all times throughout the migraine).
And to top it off, recently I have been getting full tingling and pain in my entire left arm when a migraine occurs.
Over the last two weeks, I’m not exaggerating when I say, I’m having every symptom all at once, and no medication has helped yet. I’m genuinely starting to worry about suffering a stroke before I’m 40.
So what I want to ask fellow migraine sufferers is, is there anything, especially something unconventional, that helps you at all?
Feel free to share your own experiences, or even just vent if you relate.
Please don’t be offended if I reply that I’ve tried it, I’m approaching 30 years of experience with migraines now, so I have tried an awful lot of remedies.
