Struggling with memory and speech?

I started a month ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD, depression, and Anxiety and I started taking this pill 150mg XL and it has helped a bit however I want to know if this is a side effect.

I’ve always struggled with memory and I’ve developed a light stutter before the meds but now it’s gotten worse. I can speak normally but once I stutter I all of a sudden struggle speaking and have to think and sound out my words.

Another thing, I’ve never been diagnosed with OCD though many of my teachers have suggested it but since it got better on my own I didn’t get tested but now it’s gotten worse. In 7th-8th grade it was the worst.

I wouldn’t be able to stand in the same tile if it felt uneven but in 2023 I started to obsessively wash my hands and now I have to type with an even amount of times with each thumb. Is this happening to anyone else?

I hate having ADHD

I was just diagnosed not long ago and it sucks. So everything that’s wrong with me can never be fixed? There isn’t one thing about me that’s normal and I hate that. Everything I want is tied to being normal, I’m supposed to be studying right now but now I’m here writing this. FML why isn’t there a cure?

I’m getting tested for ADHD next week and I’m scared

22f getting tested and I’m so nervous. In middle school and high school I was asked to get testing a few times but I never brought it up to my parents because I was afraid of how they’d react since I already had a learning disability but now I’m struggling in my classes and I decided to get tested so I can try to get some help.

But I’m really scared, I know it’s less likely for women to get diagnosed with ADHD but I really do believe I have it. I’m just so scared of getting rejected or being told I don’t have it, I don’t think I can go through that humiliation. I don’t know what the tests are like for adults which makes me even more scared.

I’m thinking about canceling because I’m not sure the outcome will be worth it. If I don’t have it I just embarrassed myself and wasted everyone’s time if I do have it I’ll get extra help with my work and I’ll finally be able to be normal. I just don’t know what to do.
