I just got an elgato 4kX. Ive gotten the video to work on obs but the audio is not working. Audio seems to work when recording in elgato studio but on obs there is no audio. Any reason why its not working?

4k video is laggy/choppy
I have a base m4 mac mini
I recorded a few 4k 120fps videos from my xbox using obs and a elgato 4k x capture card, but whenever i try to watch them on quicktime the videos are extremely laggy/choppy. Can my mac handle these kinds of videos without the lag? Is there something i might need to do? Would switching from hdmi connection to displayport fix this issue?

Hi i have a base m4 mac mini and an elgato 4kx
I wanted to record videos and stream on obs. So far so good. But the cpu load seems to be alot on my mac when i record at 4k 120 (although it still runs well). Is there a way for me to reduce the load while still keeping the 4k120 quality?
Also on video encoder with HEVC and H.264 the video in quicktime player and even vlc is extremely choppy. Is there a reason its coming out so laggy?
