For any other fans of the genre out there, if you're interested in horror comics, especially the classic magazine style, then I think you'll dig what I'm doing. This is a new horror series which will have one main story, in this case the 4-part I Hunt Wolves, as well as shorter horror-hosted stories like Murk's Hell Cell Terrors.

I Hunt Wolves starts off with the feel of a grindhouse western, but issue by issue the horror creeps in. Murk's Hell Cell Terrors is my ode to EC and their style of storytelling.

Murk is a demon who has been banished to a cell in the Wickesborough County Jail. Known to the guards as the Suicide Cell for the many mysterious deaths that occur within its walls. Murk collects the stories of his cellmates and narrates them to us, the readers, with dark humor and dark endings. Inspired by the stories and style of EC.

The art is by Maxim Mel who also does the interior pages for Murk's story.

Here is some art from my current comic series that I collaborated with Maxim Mel on. I met Mel in the forum and his art struck me as perfect for my character Murk and his short EC-style horror stories.

This book is 68 pages long, with the main story being I Hunt Wolves. It is being produced in the style of the classic Warren magazines, printed on newsprint in B&W.
