For context I graduated a few years ago with my masters, unfortunately have been unable to sub as I have a full time 9-5 job outside of education. Are my chances pretty slim? New teacher, went for an interview and demo. During the interview I was told there was a full time sub in that position. Later find out I didn’t get the position. I was told before hand by someone familiar with the school they tend to do this. Is there a requirement that a school has to interview multiple people for a position?

Im looking for houses in Lynbrook and the surrounding areas, and I’ve noticed a lot houses in Lynbrook specifically were built in the early 1900s like 1910-20. For reference I’m from Brooklyn and the house I grew up in was built in the 60s. Is this typical for Lynbrook? For those that live in Lynbrook, do you run into a lot of problems with your homes?
