Looking for a home-cooked Indian tiffin service in West Lafayette

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a regular Indian home-cooked/tiffin service in West Lafayette (47906).

I'm specifically looking for something more like home-cooked food rather than restaurant food, delivered regularly (daily would be ideal, but even a few times per week would help).

I've already checked the usual restaurants and a few tiffin services around the area, but haven't found anything that delivers to West Lafayette.

If you:
- know someone locally who makes and delivers
Indian tiffins,
- currently use a home-cooked meal service,
- know of an Indian home cook who takes regular orders, or
- have heard of a WhatsApp/Facebook/community group where these services are advertised,

please let me know! Even an old lead would be useful if you know whether they're still operating.

Thanks!

Looking for a driver: Urbana to West Lafayette, IN this week

Hi all, four of us are moving from Urbana, IL to West Lafayette in the next few days and looking for someone with a pickup truck, SUV, or van who can drive us one way. It is about 90 miles, roughly 1.5 hours each way. We have a few suitcases and boxes plus four backpacks, so we need the cargo room. Paying $150 for the trip and covering gas and tolls on top of that. Travel date: June 1st or 2nd. If you are already heading that way or open to earn some easy money in about 4 hours, send me a message. Thanks!

Moving to West Lafayette in June, would love some local input on a few apartments

Hi r/Lafayette, I'm relocating to West Lafayette the first week of June, mostly for stuff happening around Purdue Research Park. Been lurking the sub for a couple of weeks to get a feel for the area, but figured I'd just ask directly.

Apartments I'm currently considering:

- The Century (3443 Apollo Ln)
- Salem Courthouse (3001 Courthouse Dr)
- Peppermill Village (3303 Peppermill Dr)
- Luke Weston Properties (1074 Cumberland Ave)
- West View Apartments by Weida (1533 W 350 N)
- 1640 Sagamore Pkwy W

If you've lived in any of these or know the buildings, I'd really like to hear your honest take. Listings only tell you so much. Maintenance, parking, how management actually behaves once you've signed, noise, anything you'd want to know before committing.

Also happy to hear from folks who live in those neighborhoods more broadly. New to the area and trying to work out which pockets are actually nice to live in vs. ones that just look fine on a map.

Thanks in advance.

Moving to West Lafayette in June, looking for honest reviews on a few apartments near Purdue Research Park

Hey all, I'm moving to West Lafayette the first week of June for work near Purdue Research Park. I've got a shortlist of apartments but can't tell from listings alone which ones are actually worth signing for.

The places I'm looking at:

- The Century
- Salem Courthouse
- Peppermill Village
- Luke Weston Properties
- West View Apartments by Weida

If you've lived at any of these, or even just visited a friend there once, I'd really like to hear what you thought. Things like how quickly maintenance actually shows up, what parking is like, how the landlord behaves once the lease is signed, noise, bugs, any of it.

Also open to hearing from people who live somewhere nearby that isn't on this list. Just trying to get a sense of what the area's actually like to live in day to day.

Thanks a ton!
