I made a prototype of a city builder. The objective was to have several agents with different daily routines, taking inspiration from SC 2013 and Cities Skylines. Basically they have chances of working that day, going for a walk, go shopping to one or multiple shops, going to lunch, weekedns
I tried to recreate the glassbox agent logic using Unity DOTS (ECS, Job System, Burst). The results are good because I can have 30k unique agents with 30fps
Just a little project, I might continue it someday to reuse assets from SC2013 and give it that Maxis look and charm

A Build Mode mod I've been working on. What it does:
Still polishing it before release - feedback welcome!
PS: Sorry for the worst video ever but I was in a rush and wanted to upload it for the people who requested it. Probably has a lot of bugs but I think even like this is useful.
Notes:
Shft + click selects, Shift + drag box select, Ctrl + Number adds a group, alt + drag to go up and down, Number selects group, Icons are easy to figure out for add copy move delete, thats it for now hope you like it!
I will upload it on a proper website when its a little more polished and I got the time but for now this link will do. Installation is the same as any other BepInEx mod from Nexus.
Requires: BepInEx 5.x (64-bit) - not BepInEx 6/IL2CPP.
…\Steam\steamapps\common\Paralives*)*BepInEx, winhttp.dll, etc. sit next to Paralives.exe). Launch the game once, then close it — this creates the BepInEx\plugins folder.ParalivesRoomMod.dll into:Paralives\BepInEx\plugins\Edit: Bugs can be reported here or DMs.
According to this article, Alex is looking for relocating Paralives Studios to hire 3 to 5 new employees
What do you guys think? Is it enough?
(Keep it civil please)
I was wondering since TS1 didn’t have that, TS2 on release neither, so was Inzoi and now Paralives that has it in its roadmap
Genuinely asking because it seems like a small thing when they already had inventories in all the games
Edit: there’s no shade to any game, just curiousity how it happened with 4 different games
