This is my first time on an SNRI instead of an SSRI, and I’ve never heard of Pristiq before. What was your personal experience with the medication (both positive and negative)? I took my first dose this morning and so far I’ve just had a slight upset stomach. I haven’t noticed any new dizziness but I’m used to being a bit dizzy when standing up. The only big side effect I’m concerned about is weight gain (I’m in recovery for an eating disorder and I’m afraid that’ll ruin all the progress I’ve made)

The other day I woke up with an intense gut feeling that something was wrong, or something bad was going to happen extremely soon. I tried pushing away the feeling but it would just come back 10x stronger. I texted my friend because I was getting a bit paranoid and I wanted them to be cautious just in case. A few days later my stepdad went to his doctors appointment and came back telling us they found a black mass on his liver (he’s suffered from alcoholism since he broke his neck in a car accident around age 18-19). The entire time I was being told about this new discovery, that gut feeling came back and all I could think about was that text I sent around 3 days prior to this appointment. In your experience, how accurate are gut feelings? Did I accidentally manifest something bad to happen with my worries? Could this all just be a coincidence? My head is racing, that gut feeling is stronger than ever, and I can barely think straight. I’ve always been a more spiritual person, but haven’t really taken the time to get deep into spirituality. If anyone has any similar stories and are willing to share them it would be appreciated, I’m so freaked out and don’t want to feel alone in this.

this intense tightness in my chest, similar to that choking feeling when trying not to cry, and I have this
painful yet deeply empty feeling that won't go away.
Hopefully it's nothing, but l just can't shake the feeling somethings

Me> It's just that gut feeling yk, when you know something is off or something is gonna happen
