Since i gave my opinion on finding 8 a little boring i though i'd continue it with the other volumes as i read them. overall this volume was alright. it might be because its more fresh in my head but i think the meeting towards the end discussing the future of tempest and its affiliated kingdoms along with most things Elmesia related somewhat carried this volume.
I was a big fan of Vester and Gabils research into magicules as well and the technological advancements. i think this volume did a great job of building anticipation for the future of tensuras world and the reminders of the angels starting that war is making each technological advancement all the more exciting.
Putting my thoughts into words has admittedly made me rethink my thoughts of this volume actually, it was a good follow up to volume 8.
I'm pretty excited for volume 10, ive been avoiding the newest season as to not spoil and mix up the timeline in my head but the clips i've seen have made expect big things.
I bought this SSD along with everything else in my pc in 2023. last night i got a warning to back up my data because my SSD was in danger. I couldn't boot it into windows for a bit but after some time it worked and looking into it, this SSD has some issue that causes its health to rapidly decline (i didn't know about this until now). it could be fixed through a firmware update but it wouldn't undo what's been done. looking at the Samsung magician software, its on critical health with 48.3TB written.
I mainly just want confirmation if this would've been caused by the issue i mentioned, and am i okay to keep using this SSD now that I've updated its firmware? are there any actions i could take to try and preserve it?
i was thinking about upgrading for more storage at at some point but looking at the prices, idk if that's an option i want to take. i paid $180 for this 1TB SSD, now its $430.
