Headphone cussions left a stain on my chipboard studio desk.

My girlfriend suggested I use make-up remover since the headphones are hers (idk how the make-up would cover the whole headphone cussion but still), but I think it's just sweat and acids that got on her headphone and eventually got into the desk. I don't want to make it worse by using make-up remover. Is it a safe option? Or should I just accept that I now have two circles on my desk haha

Absolutely nerfed my hairstyle, here's some pictures of my hairstyle through the years

I know some of these pictures are ridiculous haha (yes I took one of em on the toilet), unfortunately it's the best I've got.

For years I just had a simple side part with the sides trimmed down with a slight fade. One day, my girlfriend cut my hair (I asked her to), you can see the result in the pic where I'm on stage playing guitar. When I saw that picture, I thought: I kinda like this mullet thing I got here and I just started experimenting. Changed things around a few times, got my hair cut by a friend of my girlfriend who is training to be a hairdresser.

My hair has always been one of my greatest features, but every time I look at it nowadays I just feel really insecure about it. The mullet itself got really long, and while I don't mind having long hair I just don't know what to do with it anymore.

Should I go back to a hairstyle I previously had? Or should I grow it out, and just cut my mullet so there's not such a huge difference?

Ghost hit me like a truck yesterday

Just need to get this out of my system:

I've been obsessed with In Verses since I saw them live in April and Ghost has already been my favorite album-opener since.

Last week a good friend I knew from middle school (high school depending on where you live) commited suicide. Without going into too much detail because I want to respect his and the family's privacy, he and my friend group kinda lost contact with him and I haven't spoken to him in 5 years, while still having regular contact with his brother.

I kinda regret that I never bothered to send a text or anything, didn't cross my mind and I always just assumed he didn't have the desire to talk. I found out that some of my friends did sent him a text from time to time, and I just feel guilty about it.

Yesterday I was at work (I'm a delivery driver) and I put on In Verses, I always find myself trying to sing along because I really like Ian Kenny's style and I'd love to be able to have the same control he has over his voice.

Stay with me a while

Stay with me

If only for a moment

We'll pretend

That everything's okay

Like every other day

Now I don't think I could've prevented him commiting suicide if I had sent a text from time to time, but hearing these words coming out of my mouth really hit me and I just started crying. I started imagining myself saying this to him. I could really relate to a lot of the lyrics from other songs as well but this just hit different yesterday.

Gotta love this band. Their music is like therapy.

Anyone else that can't stop imagining it's Jacob Collier singing at the end of Reanimation?

No? Just me?

I'll see myself out...

Daily iron intake question

I need some help. My nurse specialist advised me to take iron tablets to combat my ADHD-symptoms. I read that the recommended daily intake for iron is 11 mg per day, from both food and supplements. But, here in the Netherlands at least, you can't buy a bottle of iron supplements where the intake per pill isn't lower than 14 mg. I'm worried I'll take too much and my organs will take the consequences. Am I missing something here?
