I know power up abilities say activate once but does it count for if its copied?

I've exhausted my very little computing knowledge.

I bought this for my son for his birthday.

As far as I'm aware it's a clone but a pretty okay one (SoySauce?)

I've taken out the stock SD card and I'm trying to install dArkOSRE on to the new card, I only own a chromebook.

I've got as far as downloading it from Github and using Chromebook Recovery Utility I've managed to Use local image to put it on to the new SD card it all goes on just fine but when I put the new SD card in the device will not power on.

After some googling apparently the card doesn't have the ability to power the device on or something? But for the life of me I don't know how to solve it.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

P.S feel free to explain things like I'm an idiot because my knowledge is very very limited.

I last tried a few sets ago but always struggled making the most from clive I know the spiderman set brought a few mayhem cards that could be useful. Looking for any ideas how I can start building him.

I bought this for my sons birthday, it has a lot of games on their but he would like some more up to date games downloaded on it. (The most recent Pokemon game on it for example is pokemon yellow.) I bought a new memory card and only have a Chromebook and an SD reader.

I have zero knowledge on what to do to the memory card to let me play the games I'm trying to download. Can I just pop the files I've downloaded straight on to the memory card? I'm not good with these things but just wanna make my lad happy. Thanks.
