i soft locked myself in support chat 😭

so i can't post screenshots of support chats due to the subreddit rules (the reason remains a mystery to me) but basically i accidentally pressed "close ticket" instead of "yes" to "has it been 24 hours since you earned your reward"

now i can't make a new ticket and my messages just send to the void or something, i tried sending info a few days ago but no response

luckily support chat is different on every device so i just logged in on my ipad and got the issue resolved, i sent the messages from the ipad after sending from the iphone, and the ipad messages got a response so i think the ones from my iphone are just not going anywhere

i think reinstalling will fix it, but is there another option? will reinstalling mess up arcade tracking? any way to reset the helpshift module or something? or just wait it out?

how does atlas earth choose what counts as a city?

in the san francisco (east) bay area there are a few unincorporated areas, the largest being castro valley (4th largest in the state) with a population over 66k and an area of over 17 square miles

the smallest is diablo, with a population under 1300 and an area of less than 1.2 square miles, and a couple other small ones include blackhawk and camino tassajara, all 3 of which i thought was just a part of the nearby town of danville until i started playing this game

so i gotta wonder why out of the 4 unincorporated areas i listed, why is castro valley the only one not on the map? if i go there it's just a county badge for alameda county

i don't really care if it changes or not eventually so i'm not going to try to ask support to change it or anything but i am curious if anyone knows the process, requirements, or if you have any other examples that are like less than 1k population and 1 square mile and listed as a city, or over 100k population and 20 square miles and not listed as one?

i just had the best idea, imagine we could surrender minigames

even if we had to wait 5 or 10 or 15 seconds it would be nice

if the ads are going to be more than 30 seconds long at least let us cut down the 30 seconds in game

also make sure high win people only match with other high win people (leaderboard players) so it's fair to them too

If Chinese people are so smart why does my online friend in China think it's nighttime during the day?

I guess Americans can't be the dumbest people in the world like people say because I'm looking out my window and it's 100% daytime. The sun is clearly up, shining bright. My friend in China says it's late at night and tried to tell me something about the Earth's revolution or rotation or something like that. I have no idea what that means so I don't think it's true. They always told me not to say the R word because it's based on outdated science. How can someone be so dumb and ignorant that they can't see it's daytime? How can I help my Chinese friend? Is this related to government censorship?

assuming binary, no terms like vintage or whatever, the only choices are old and new

if you ask someone born in 1950, they would probably say anything before like 1970-1980 is old and maybe 1990s or 2000s would be new

but since i was born in 2000 i say before 2000 is old and anything past 2020 is definitely new but i don't know about in between

im wondering because a song from 2012 came on and my dad asked "is it new?" and i was like, well that depends lol

i've heard of people calling 3-5 year old songs old and i think that isn't old

and a song from 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020 for example; old or new? at what point does your answer change?

edit: in a single word quick answer in a real life conversation i mean, where you're not trying to get into one of these long winded reddit paragraph answers lol

let's pretend you have only 1 second to answer in 1 word, no explanation, no numbers

since i was born in 2000 i say around 2008-2014 and before might be pretty old

im thinking binary old vs new but feel free to add more options
