I've been reading "Les Miserables" and have become intrigued with Napoleon. I know very little about his wars and what he achieved and how he changed Europe. Could anyone help me get started? I really only have time for audio books at this time in my life.

I wish i had the time to sit and enjoy a book but the only free time I have in my day is the one hour I get after my family goes to bed. And by that time I'm worn out from a long day.

To begin I hoping to learn about his wars and how he changed Europe. I know he was somehow involved in the French Revolution but I don't know how. I have a vague understanding of what the French Revolution was about but I'm very interested in learning about that too.

If anyone could help me find a good audio book about this proud of French history, I would greatly appreciate it. I just don't know where to start. Or how to pick a good or the right book.

Thank you for any help or suggestions offered.

We need tips for getting our daughter to poop in the potty.

She's been potty trained for months now but is scared to poop in the potty. She'll pee in the potty all day but when she needs to poop she asks for a diaper and poops in it.

We've tried getting her to sit on the potty with her diaper on and pooping inside the diaper while sitting there.

We've tried not giving her a diaper and instead sitting there with no diaper on the potty reading her books. We've bribed her with candy. Told her it's okay to be scared. There's probably been other stuff we tried i just can't think of now.

Has anyone else ran into this problem with their kid? Does anyone have any advice for us or tips that we can try?

I'm not sure I've ever hated a character more than I hate The Thenardiers.

I'm only maybe halfway through the book. I saw the mini series done by BBC and absolutely loved it. Immediately after finishing the show, I started the book. So I kind of have an idea of where the story goes.

I just can't believe how horrible these people are. It breaks my heart. I know this is just a story but the reality of the world is that things like this have been happening to children since the beginning of time.

This is one of the best books I've ever read. I'm not actually reading it though. I'm just listening to it. I wish I had the time to sit down and read. I don't think any other book has ever wrenched this much emotion out of me. It's truly a masterpiece.

I'm on year 7 of this kratom run. I've been on and off kratom since I got clean about 15 years ago.

I've got kids and a career and so many responsibilities that I'm terrified of finally coming off kratom this time. I know what I'm in for and I'm scared as hell.

I began tapering recently and plan to quit this winter when work slows down.

I read on here that Agmatine can help with tapering. From the small amount I've read it's a potentiator and can help me take less. I also read that if someone takes it before bed, they don't wake up sick.

But is there anything I should know from people who've used it?

Will I develop a physical dependence on it?

I was so scared about this. She loves these roses more than anything and I didn't know anything about roses. I made a couple posts here and asked some questions, and got some great help and then I did some research online and ended up loosely followed the University of Georgia Rose Maintenance Schedule. But that thing called for so many products that I knew she wouldn't want to spend all that money. So I picked the 3 that I thought were most important, insecticide, fungicide and food, and I went with it.

In truth, I honestly don't feel like it was me that did it. I think the guy that took care of them for 20 years just did a really good job. And I took over, and already, very good rose garden.
