I'm working on a video about the history of this hobby and I was trying to remember. I can't remember many shaped popcorn buckets before the D20 and the Themberchaud head for Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves. I do remember a few printed tins for big releases like Star Wars but I don't remember statement popcorn buckets prior to COVID. What's the earliest bucket you can remember? My hypothesis is this hobby really kicked off after the pandemic as theatres struggled to get people back into seats. What do you guys think?

Enjoy my review of the Trojan Horse bucket! My question for this one is what's the deal with midwest theatres only getting buckets the day of movie release? Everywhere else in the US I've been seeing people get these up to a week before.

I'm not much of a minions fan and for the time being I am only buying buckets that I could see myself keeping in my personal collection, so the next new buckets I'll be reviewing are for the odyssey. If I can get one earlier than the 16th I will but where I live they don't sell them before release day. In the meantime enjoy my review.
Does anybody have a themberchaud popcorn bucket from the DnD movie? That's one I've always had trouble tracking down.
