Where to buy healthy farm-raised salmon in Austin?

I can't do wild salmon because the parasites just ruin it for me. Yes, I know they die when cooked or frozen properly, but the visual appearance alone grosses me out.
So I'm looking at farm-raised salmon instead
- but then you run into the antibiotics/ chemicals issue. I want to avoid that too.
So, where can I buy high-quality farm-raised salmon that's raised without antibiotics or other sketchy additives?
Are there specific stores, brands, or certifications I should look for around here?

I have a brand‑new 2026 Camry SE, and my MPG keeps resetting randomly. It’s happened twice in the last 2–3 months. My friend has a 2025 Camry XSE, and his doesn’t do this at all. I already made an appointment with the dealership to have them check it out.

Does anyone know if this kind of issue is usually covered and free of charge, or if they can still charge me even when they can’t find anything? It’s a really weird behavior.

I recently received some inheritance money, and I’m trying to figure out how to use it to eventually become a home builder.

Right now, I have a corporate job, but my long-term goal is to build homes full-time. My idea is to start small: buy a cheap piece of land and build an inexpensive house by hiring contractors step by step.

I expect to make a lot of mistakes on the first build, but I’m hoping the process will get easier with each project.

After finishing the first house, my plan is to do a cash-out refinance, rent it out, and use that capital and my new savings to start building the second one. Then repeat the process and gradually scale.

Eventually, I’d like to leave my corporate job and focus on this full-time. For now, I have a relatively chill remote job and can save a good amount each month, which helps.

Does this sound like a realistic path? What am I underestimating or missing?

I don’t have hands-on experience yet, so I know there’s a steep learning curve. Planning to do a lot of research, talk to people in the field, and learn as I go—but I’m sure I’m underestimating some things.

Can someone please check if these are fruit flies? I’m at the breaking point. I’ve done everything you can imagine to get rid of these but I’m 99% sure they’re coming from outside. Temperature dropped to 60 degree F yesterday in Austin, they are all gone. Temperature back to 70 today, they started coming back. I live in an apartment.

I have an apartment in Austin, TX. It’s brand new and I’m the first person to live in it. I’m extremely frustrated with fruit flies. I’ve done everything you can imagine, and they still keep coming. I’ve been renting for over 10 years and I’ve never had an issue like this. I can’t cook because of them. I can’t even eat inside my apartment because they immediately swarm my food. I’m honestly at the point of crying. Pest control can’t do anything.

I still have 5 months left on my contract. I can’t break it because I’d have to pay all remaining rent, and I’m not allowed to sublease. I’m stuck with these mf.

What I’ve done so far:

  1. Taken all trash cans outside to the balcony. The balcony door hasn’t been opened for 2 weeks.
  2. Stopped eating anything inside the apartment.
  3. Cleaned the entire apartment thoroughly.
  4. Cleaned all drains and blocked them, except the main kitchen sink. That one has a plug, and every time I use it, I put the plug back, block airflow, and pour water to keep the trap sealed.
  5. Apple cider vinegar + dish soap traps. They catch like 10 flies a day and I constantly refresh them.
  6. Constantly killing flies with cleaning spray. It works, but they keep coming.
  7. Asked the leasing office for pest control. They came and only sprayed the drains.

My thoughts:

They’re coming from outside. My apartment stays at 72°F, and when the weather outside gets cold, the flies disappear. When it warms up above ~70°F, they come back. It’s probably the HVAC vents, the entrance door, or some gap somewhere. I don’t know anymore. I’m exhausted and tired of these mf.
