Why are people gaslighting job seekers about the current market?

This is a rant. I’m sick of people who have no concept of what so many of us looking for jobs are dealing with. The level of competition, the constant ghosting, the constant rejections or the indecisiveness of final decisions. Or so many of you have mentioned on this forum that you’ve made it to final round interviews just to be rejected after doing up 5+ interviews. People with so much experience and multiple degrees are constantly being rejected by jobs that they’re overqualified for. There are people who aren’t looking for work right now, that are constantly gaslighting us and telling us WE are the problem, not the market. That we’re interviewing wrong, or our resumes are wrong and it’s just like we all can’t be unqualified, bro?! The excuses they give are endless, but if none of us are finding work, common sense shows us that there’s a larger problem within the market. I feel like I’m screaming into the void, dealing with these kinds of people. Has anybody else reached that point of frustration where they’re tired of having to explain the job market to people who don’t understand or refuse to understand?

New to this and not sure what info to provide. every now and then I google my bio dad and usually I find nothing. He passed away before I was born (or so I thought.)

I randomly got the urge to look him up and for whatever reason his full name appeared as the first google search term. I have been looking for 20 years and there It was staring back at me. I was able to find two logs of his name both submitted entries. One with the incorrect death date and another with seemingly the correct birth date and death date.

After reviewing who made the edits, I realized this person submitted this info twice only a few years apart. I’m not sure why or how this person knows him but I reached out via chat. I haven’t heard back yet but I searched everything I could on his home country’s (Brazil) records and he just doesn’t seem to be there. Any advice on next steps for search help? After running the findings on ChatGPT, it suggested catholic parishes and/or civil records in his city/country but it’s very hard sorting through with the language barrier and me being American so most search results are slim. I even tried searching the person who added him by their full name as it was listed on their profile edits, but I haven’t been able to find anything about who this person is and if they know my father or if we are even related.

I’ve given up using this app multiple times and once again I’m blocked from posting with the message below:

“We set limits on certain activity to keep interactions meaningful. You've reached the limit for now.”

It’s already been 24 hours and I still can’t post. I’m getting frustrated as shxt with this. I will delete the app, come back months later and it just happens again.
