Dwarf Flying Machines??

Dwarf Flying Machines??

I'm finally picking up Dwarfs after being introduced to TW3 a year ago. Its my understanding Dwarfs have been one of the most updated factions. Absolutely loving them but struggling to understand the flying machines.

Everyone seems to glaze the gyrocopters, but which ones better, the steam or fire ones? Ive ran about 3 in my armies and dont seem to be getting these outstanding results everyone's told me about. Are they really that good and I'm just trash?

Bed bug ID?

Hello, I'm pretty sure these aren't bed bugs but book lice. Need some clarification. Ive dealt with bed bugs before and I just don't want to mess with them. Found in Wales, on a mattress onto of some wooden pallets (camping for a few weeks)

Bikepacking + Hiking in the UK: How do you handle bike security when hitting the summits?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to get into bikepacking here in the UK, and I want to use it as a way to head out for long trips that combine riding with getting up into the mountains. Specifically, I'm looking to log some Quality Mountain Days (QMDs) for my Mountain Leader DLog, so I'll be leaving the bike behind for hours at a time to complete proper mountain routes.

My main hesitation is security. If you are doing a "bike-to-hike" style trip, what is your strategy for leaving your bike and your gear safely at the bottom?

A few specific questions:

• The Bike: Do you try to find hidden spots to stash and lock it in the wild (forests, behind stone walls), or do you stick to locking it up in more public spaces like village halls, cafes, or farmyards after asking permission?

• The Bags/Possessions: Obviously, valuables (phone, keys, wallet, electronics) stay in the hiking pack. But what about frame bags, sleep systems, or cooking gear? Do you leave them attached and trust a small cable lock/obscurity, or pack a ultra-light packable daysack to carry the essentials with you?

• UK-Specific Tips: If you’ve done this in places in Scotland like the Highlands, are there specific places or setups you found worked well for leaving kit secure? I believe Loch Lomond might work well.

Would love to hear any advice, gear recommendations (like lightweight but effective locks), or general strategies you use to get peace of mind while you're on the peaks.

Thanks in advance!

How to play Tall?

Hello, as the title says.

Whats the best way to play tall? Im very used to being aggressive and trying to paint the map so I'm struggling to play reserved. Is it really as easy as just keeping armies defending settlements? Also what's the best races to play tall?

Thanks in advance ☺️

How to expand with Skaven?

Hello

I love love love the Skaven. I think the whole idea of them rocks but I've never had much luck playing with them on the Total War games. I recently had some luck with Throt and was doing exceptionally well. I secured some settlements in the north and became buddy buddy with the Khorne faction, securing my east. So I decided to expand towards the empire.

It wasnt until I got to Altdorf that I realised I was bleeding food, that was after only colonising settlements at level 1 with the exception for one or two tier five capital settlements (when I could afford it). I've been sending my warlock engineer far away to set up undercities but even that wasnt enough.

So my question is how do I expand with the skaven? Do I raze as many settlements as I can? Only keeping some? Do I capture then trade? Very confused because I felt I was doing so well
