Why no watch for Gregg

Why did Kendall refuse to pay Greg for the watch? Kendall is ridiculously rich, and Greg literally got him the papers that made his entire plan possible. Without those papers, Kendall’s move against Logan doesn’t even happen.

Dammit doorman

I recently moved into a new place, and our building has a doorman. Every day when I come in or leave, he opens the door for me and greets me. It’s nice, but I’m terrible at greetings. It just doesn’t come naturally to me where I’m from.
So every day, I’m secretly thinking, “Please don’t open the door for me. Don’t greet me. I’ll do it myself. That way I can avoid the awkward interaction.”
But today, of all days, both my hands were full because I was carrying a package.
And TODAY, he didn’t open the door.
Not deliberately, of course. He was busy signing something.
So there I was, awkwardly standing at the door, trying to push it open with my weak-ass legs while holding a package in both hands.
Of course. The one day I actually needed him to open the door. 😭

50 shades of Tom

I am on a rewatch binge and I am noticing how Tom is a very different personality based on the character he is interacting with.

For most other characters, there’s basically a Logan mode and then their normal personality. Tom is different. He seems to become a genuinely different person with almost everyone, but somehow you can still recognize the same Tom underneath it.

With Greg he’s this weird mix of bully, mentor and friend. With Logan he’s terrified and submissive. With Shiv he’s needy, insecure, loving and resentful. With Roman he’s basically a punching bag. And around people beneath him, he suddenly becomes this arrogant corporate asshole. It’s like Tom doesn’t just change his behavior depending on who he’s with,
he changes his whole personality.

Why not Shiv?

I I have been thinking about this since I finished the show. I get why Kendall and Roman are bad for the job, but Shiv? I am not too sure about her. She is capable and smart. What do you think is the reason for not picking her? Don’t give me the same old experience excuse.

At the end, she was just left with two choices: either become a sister of the CEO or wife of the CEO. Is it all just because she is a woman?

Kendall Roy is like…

Just binged the show and I was rooting for Kendall from S1. I mean the dude goes through the toughest arc but doesn’t grow at all. And I was trying to understand his character… during the part when he was discussing about living+ speech prep and asks a guy to build a house structure and CLOUDS in single day that’s when it hit me..

He is like a cracked up guy with ChatGPT+ subscription. He just talks and comes up with plans that he can’t execute himself, most of the times he does not even know how to. But because he is so rich, he has smart people around him like ChatGPT but if you can’t describe the thing you want to ChatGPT it will throw out only garbage.

Ethan is the reason for the consistency of this show…

With today’s timelines where shows are taking minimum two years to flush out the next season, we should appreciate Ethan for being there so that we can get new seasons quickly before he starts aging too fast for the character
