CGA Mistake Question - SC
Hey yall, so for brief context I’ve worked here for over a year. I originally started in PA as a CGA, then transferred to SC for family reasons at the beginning of May this year.
Still a CGA.
I’ve never had any issues or anything before but today I got an email from an atty saying they haven’t received any contact about their UIM demand. It was then I realized the email with their demand came in at the end of May with a three week due date for review (aka middle of June).
I uploaded it to the claim, apologized to the attorney, and then sent notice to my supe and took accountability. My supe mentioned in SC it’s a big deal but not to worry about it and we’ll talk in 10 days (they’re going on vacation).
I’ve convinced myself I’m getting terminated. I’ve been working to get promoted and such, and I worked so hard to get this job but now it feels like I failed myself because either I just missed the email, read it and got busy with another claim/call, or just neglected it bcz I thought it was an error since I’m not an injury adjuster.
Anyone else experience anything or know anything that could help calm my nerves this holiday weekend? Thanks 😭
