I know I had said in my previous post that I would not be able to continue rescuing. And honestly, I never intended to take on more.

But I had to take these three cats to the vet as they couldn’t eat much.

Milo -Calicivirus + herpesvirus, with severe dental decay Teddy -Calicivirus + herpesvirus Twinkle -FIV + calicivirus + herpesvirus

I have tried asking for help locally, but so far, I have received no support for them.

They were taken to HudHud Clinic yesterday and are receiving the care they need. I had to request the doctor for some time to arrange the payment, but I urgently need to raise funds for their medication.

Consultation and test cost: AED 1993.95 Medication cost: AED 900 (yet to be added in the final bill)

I am asking for your help because I cannot manage this alone.

The only post I wanted to write was to show my gratitude for the food you all sent for my stray kitties.

But here I am, asking for your support once again - this time for three cats who have been diagnosed with calicivirus and herpesvirus.

One of them also had to undergo dental extraction, and two of them are struggling to eat.

And here’s the real thing: there are no dramatic rescue videos, no graphic images, and no rolling cats around in the dirt for sympathy.

These are simply their pictures, their medical needs, and their bills.

3 kg of dry food every day A few cans of wet food Chicken, which I’ve started giving them during the summer to help with hydration.

I’m not currently able to continue rescuing more cats until I have some stability. For now, my focus is on caring for the cats already depending on me, especially Juno, who is currently at the vet after being diagnosed with dry FIP. Hi everyone, A few days ago, I posted about Juno. She was showing signs of improvement, but sadly, she has stopped eating again.

I took her to Al Rafeeq Vet Clinic, where blood tests were done. Her A/G ratio is indicative of FIP, and based on her symptoms, the vet suspects neurological FIP.

Juno has already been through so much during her time on the streets. She deserves a chance to fight and get better.

I’m scared and honestly don’t know what to do. This is the first time I’ve had a rescue cat facing a suspected FIP diagnosis, and I’m desperately trying to understand everything and find the best way to help her. Juno has already been through so much. She was dumped by her previous owners and spent months receiving veterinary care after suffering a broken femur that required surgery.

Two days ago, I had to admit her to Al Rafeeq Veterinary Clinic because she was unwell. Her bloodwork showed an A/G ratio of 0.3, which is highly concerning for FIP, and her vets are evaluating and treating her accordingly.

I don’t want to give up on Juno.

Although I initially wanted to purchase dry food as well, I decided to prioritize helping the cats survive the summer heat. I bought 12 kg of chicken and 47 cans of wet food for them. I still have one bag of dry food left, as they have been consuming very little of it due to the heat.

Update on Juno:

Juno is slowly improving, although she has lost a lot of weight. As I mentioned before, she's very difficult to handle and has tried every chance she gets to bite me, so giving her treatment hasn't been easy. A friend bought Revolution Spot-On for her since she wouldn't let me use the prescribed ear drops. I'm very grateful for the support and hopeful she'll continue to recover. Her bill is also covered. Thank you🙂.

Juno also has a chronic respiratory condition that previous vets confirmed, so she's now fighting several health issues at the same time. Although she's the sweetest girl, she's incredibly difficult to handle, making it almost impossible to give her the medication she needs at home. She'll have to return to the clinic to continue her treatment.

When I first rescued her, she had a broken femur, and caring for her was one of the most challenging experiences I've ever had.

Yesterday's bill is still outstanding, and there will be more expenses as her treatment continues.
