We’re Back Asking for Help for Scout 💔 ($70.66 raised from last post) TN

Y’all may remember Scout, the feral boy we brought in for an emergency vet visit when he had a severe URI. You also helped me get him neutered (in February and fully vaccinated, and I'm so grateful for that support).

He needs a little help again.

Scout has been having ongoing digestive issues with intermittent diarrhea. He otherwise seems bright, active, and acting normal, but it’s been happening often enough that he definitely needs to be checked out.

I've been trying to manage it at home with pumpkin, a bland diet, and Purina FortiFlora, but it hasn’t fully resolved. I also gave him Drontal yesterday to rule out parasites, but he’s still having episodes.

At this point, I think he needs a vet visit to figure out what’s really going on and make sure nothing more serious is behind it.

I hate asking again, but any amount toward his next vet visit would really help. Even small donations make a difference.

Thank you for always supporting Scout and helping us keep him healthy. (ALSO note, he is a friendly boy now so he won't have to be trapped) 😻

Rehoming a mama cat and her 8 kittens in Bellflower, Ca

My son's dad is facing eviction because he hasn't had a steady or reliable income this year. He hurt his knee and shoulder when he fell through a manhole cover. He's had various interviews but no one calls him for a job. We rescued a mama calico cat Sketchy Cheddar Brookie, her 8 month old orange kitten Creamsicle from her first litter, and a second litter of 7 lil angels. I need to find these babies homes because I dont want them to go to a shelter and have them be killed. He has emotional support paperwork for cheddar and Creamsicle. Im in Bellflower, California. Im praying for a miracle. In the meantime please help me find homes for these angels from God.

URGENT temporary foster needed - all expenses paid | Atlanta, GA, USA

Hi all. Due to sudden unexpected circumstances and financial issues, I’m (27F) moving back in with my mom in the next few weeks and I’m unable to take my girls with me. These are Bean and Pepper, I’ve had them for 8 years, and they are my whole world. I’m willing to do anything I can to keep them from being permanently rehomed or going to a shelter.

About Bean (tortoiseshell):

-Was a feral street cat found at 2 years old, is currently 10 years old

-Big lap cat and cuddler

-Likes to jump on counters and tables (haven’t been able to correct this behavior)

-Very food motivated

About Pepper (tabby):

-Given to me by a family friend at 9 weeks old, is currently 8 years old

-Very anxious and shy but is incredibly sweet once she’s comfortable

-Has behavioral issues such as scratching furniture and walls (I haven’t had success with her only using a scratching post), occasionally poops outside of the litter box, and does not get along well with other cats

-Was 16 pounds but has been on a diet for the last 2 years and has lost a significant amount of weight

I’m looking for someone who is experienced with cats who may be able to help Pepper with her behavioral problems. Since she doesn’t get along well with other cats, I’m unable to take her to my mom’s with me as she has 2 cats as well and not enough space to keep them separated. I will pay for everything they need, I have a job and steady income, and will come with everything they need. I just bought them new litter boxes last week, they have a drinking fountain, a timed feeder, beds, brushes, and all their toys. I don’t know how long it will take me to find new place to go with the circumstances that are happening at the moment. Seeking a potential year long foster to be on the safe side.

Please, if anyone is able to help me, please reach out. I don’t want to lose my girls. Thank you so much.

Riverside county. Need to rehome 2 cats

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a loving home for two male cats, Rocky and Skye. It has been a very difficult decision, but due to changes in our household, we can no longer provide the environment they need.

They deserve a safe, patient, and caring home where they can thrive. If you're interested or know of a reputable rescue or someone looking to adopt, please send me a message. I can provide more information, photos, and answer any questions.

Please share if you know someone who might be a good fit. Thank you

Food for the stray cats - Deira (Dxb)

Hi everyone,

I'm running very low on food for the 90 stray cats I feed every day. They need around 3 kg of dry food, a few cans of wet food, and, because of the summer heat, I've also been feeding them chicken especially the cats in parking lots where water bowls are not allowed.

At the moment, I only have half a bag of dry food and a few cans of wet food left. I'm also continuing my TNR (had sent 1 female and 4 males on 2nd July).

If you're able to support with food or a small donation, I would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution helps keep these cats fed and hydrated.

Update on Imara: pirate cancer warrior whom this community has supported so generously in the past. We hope for your continued help as she navigates the next steps of her palliative care journey 🙏

We're raising $322 to cover Imara's tests and fospice care 🙏

It's been a while since we shared an update about Imara! ❤️

She's been doing wonderfully and has adjusted so well to living with us. Imara was originally a neglected kitty whose rescue journey started with a friend before her care was eventually passed on to us.

She has a large lesion on the right side of her face that had long been suspected to be cancer. Our local vet relayed her biopsy results in the last week of June, and we had our first oncology consult yesterday. Her results confirmed that she has squamous cell carcinoma. After multiple tests with the oncologist, we've learned that her cancer is high-grade and currently at stage 3.

The good news is that there are virtually no signs of metastasis - at least not in her lungs, her slow-healing wounds on her back (5th photo), or in any of her lymph nodes except possibly for the one adjacent to her lesion. The vet recommended we pursue chemo, but because of how extensive her lesion had already become by the time she was rescued, chemotherapy would be palliative rather than curative.

Chemo can extend her life, but her quality of life during it could be hit or miss. We've read that cats often tolerate chemotherapy better than humans do, but we don't want Imara to go through unnecessary stress or side effects if there's a chance it could sacrifice the comfort she currently has. Right now, she's doing very well on her combination of pain medications and analgesics. She rarely has bad days and is as food-motivated as ever.

We've always known deep down that Imara may be around for just a good time and not a long time, and when the time comes, we'd be glad to help her cross over with the dignity she deserves. But for now, it looks like we'd have a few more happy months with her.

Help with covering Miss Imara's tests would be so appreciated. We may need a bacterial culture by her next visit because she has a non-resolving infection (breakdown at the end). Our donation channels can be seen below!

Loving home needed for adorable and playful kitten whose pet parent departed 🕊️ - Lawrenceville, Georgia

This is little Tamir, he is approximately 4 months old. He joined a loving home with another cat about two months ago. Sadly, his pet mama passed away tragically. He is still very young and able to adapt so we’re looking for a loving home for him where he will be pampered.
He has been neutered and has had his shots.

He is playful, young, and will do best in a home that understands kittens need time, consistency, pampering and gentle guidance— Tamir has already gone through a lot we are hoping to find a stable, lifelong home where he can stay forever and feel secure.

Indoor-only, responsible, and committed homes only please.

If you are interested in adopting Tamir, please reach out with a bit about your home and experience.

Another update on Rattle (Possible coyote attack, PA)

Thank you so much for your support of little Rattle! It has been almost 2 months since she came to us with two badly injured back legs. We had hoped that time, rest, and dedicated medical care would allow both to heal. However, after weeks of treatment, it became clear that one leg simply wasn't going to recover and we made the difficult decision to amputate.

Just a few days out, our sweet girl is doing well! She is comfortable, busy making biscuits, and settling into life as a happy tripod. Finally free from the leg that had been slowing her down, we truly believe this is the fresh start she deserved.

We'll be monitoring her closely as she recovers over the coming weeks, but we're incredibly hopeful for what's ahead. Here's to a new chapter, a little less weight to carry, and a whole lot of three-legged adventures!

If you are able to help towards her care, she and we would truly appreciate it ❤️

I ugly cried!

This might be kind of a long post.

I have been staying in garland, and about 6ish weeks ago I picked up 6 bottle babies (10-14 days old) from someone in the DFW area. I had no clue what I was doing. Second day i had them....my god! What is that smell?

Took them to a vet. Coccidia. And the vet informed me that 2 were very small/underweight and might not make it. Um. Nope. I held those 2 Littles in my hand and said "there will be no dying on my watch. There is no way I can deal with you 2 babies dying".

I read about bottle feeding and everything I could about littles. I ordered so many nipples and bottles off Amazon. Kitten formula. I got baby changing pads and blankets. I dont have a washer/dryer at the house. I was going to laundromat everyday because I was changing out bedding everything I saw poop. Got tiny litter boxes with non clumping litter. I ordered so much stuff. I bought fingerless gloves-Freddy Kruger mittens they all had! My cuticles were bleeding.

Those littles were so demanding!

I read about Coccidia and said-well, shit! This is going to kill us all! Fortunately, the house i am in has no carpet, no furniture because I am remodeling it. But I had to bathe the littles everyday for a week. I really think they loved it! Haha!

Everyday, those littles amazed me, and they LOVED me! And I loved them. I bought beds, scratching posts, toys and every kind of wet food.

I fed them wet food 3xs a day. The runt, hazel, would have so much food on her feet and belly from plowing through everyone's food! They ate hard food. They traveled with me back and forth to lubbock. When I left them there (with my family) I was transporting cat from garland and houston to colorado.

Of course my family fell in love with them. And I had picked up 2 void kittens in ft worth. So now I had 8.

It was time for them to fly. I had raised these babies. They were playful, sweet, loving, and oh so beautiful.

I had named them-

Maple, hazel, teddy, presley, baby maxx Jr, and Harry styles

The voids got named-

Tommy Lee

Nikki sixx

I was so in love with them all. Baby max jr was to be adopted by my friend in lubbock. u/historical_duck_8238 needed me to pick some kittens from Houston, so I went down and picked up 4 more kittens for transport to colorado.

On early Thursday morning(with kitten passports in hand) the 11 kittens and I set off for Loveland Colorado. We were headed to colorado kitty coalition.

And the tears flowed as we drove. It is a 12 hour trip(I didn't pee the whole way). I stayed for intake, I made their wet food. I had individual blankets made with their names on them.

They made weight. They are all getting fixed on monday. I told Arika, if nobody adopts them within the month, I will come get them.

I UGLY CRIED.

I didn't want to leave my babies!

But I know in my heart, they will be perfect kittens/cats for someone.

I raised them, spoiled them and loved them. All 12 slept with me and they purred with affection for me. I was their momma for a short time. I didn't keep any(I have 9 cats at home in lubbock).

It was time for them to fly.

I will always remember them and I took so many pictures.

I love will always love you my sweet 6!

And of course the hitchhikers i picked up along the way!💜

So hard but so rewarding! Thank you to all the people that rescue and foster. This was my first time, but I know it won't be my last.

Future fosters and 5 kittens I'm raising together, asking for help for my amazon wishlist of kittens supplies, please and thank you, Illinois♡ ♡The Floofaloofs are on the Loose♡

(Please be cautious with your floofers with the fireworks, with all animals. My neighbor lost her chicken because she got so scared she had a heart attack and died. I am so heart broken for her. I hope everyone's pets and outside floofs and animals are safe!!!!!)

- page about the Floofaloofs ♡

Update - I Hopefully will be getting the fosters from the picture in my last post this week.  The weather here has been CRAZY and we had branches and trees tumble down (https://www.reddit.com/r/FloofaloofsOnTheLoose/s/cLjfbc9ZQB

pictures of the destruction, including the huge branches that fell in front of our house, thank God it missed!! I also included it in the two last pictures)

I have 6 cat houses in the backyard put up for the outside floofers, plus my garage is open for them.  I hate they have to be out in this scary weather!

A few of my neighbors power went out, so i gave 3 of them a cooling mat and frozen water bottles for their cats, along with some fresh catnip to distract them.  The power is suppose to be out for a couple days, so I also helped with canned food and churus, so the sweeties can eat and be hydrated.  I know last time we had our power out for a few days, we had to replace groceries in the fridge and it was rough, so we dont want them to have to worry they are not going to be able to afford cat supplies due to it.  Many are elderly.♡

Anything on my kitten list is a huge help, but one of the *little towers*,or a *kitty couch*, , one of the *lower litter pans*, or a *toy* would help me so so much.  The reason I have the filter on there is because I have an air purifier in the foster room for them, that is the filter it takes.

Thank you for everything you do, not just for the floofaloofs and I, but for everyone here who has dedicated their lives to saving as many floofaloofs as possible♡♡

You are the good in the world and we are grateful to you.  I truly wish I could personally shake your hand and give you a hug and express my gratitude to you♡

Previous post body - I am on the the radar to foster 2 kittens here as soon as they are caught ( proof in pictures), and I have a few items that would be for future foster kittens, as this will be an ongoing thing (fostering!)

It may be a lot on the plate, but they deserve to be loved and find loving families♡

We are doing all we can to TNR.  We pay 50 a cat, so we have been putting aside ANYTHING extra to try to do at least 1 or 2 a week.  Helping me with my list ensures the cash I would have used for items will go to our TNR efforts.  They are worth every penny.  I am still reeling from the 1,000 dollar bill for the Late Batman (RIP sweet baby), and will have future appts for the kittens I have, along with getting them fixed, so I really have been keeping the budget tight.

We have been keeping the outside kitties cool, I was sent a cooling mat (thank you!) And also have been freezing bottles and gallon jugs of water to put outside frozen to change day and night.  Also have been putting ice in their water bowls.  Hopefully the heat wave will break soon!  My garage is also set up for the cats, so they can be safe and by the cooling jugs.

Thank you for everything you all do, for the floofaloofs and I, all of us on this page  We will never stop doing all we can to save the floofaloofs ♡♡♡

‼️ Please help with lifesaving treatment for a senior IBD rescue cat — New Paltz, NY

I feel bad that I’ve been posting so much, whenever the timer is up and I’m allowed to, but idk what else to do. The other fundraising subs have been extremely rude and aggressive to me, telling me to put my cat down even though she’s doing better now and is only 14; she is still eating and drinking, 10lbs, no signs of slowing down - she just has a chronic health condition. It’s extremely discouraging. People keep downvoting everything I say or post, attacking me for not having insurance on my 14 year old cat when I was a minor when I got her (and not in charge of her care monetarily), etc. anyway. Sorry for ranting. I just feel bad for flooding the sub but idk where else to go

——————————————————

Hello, I have a 14-year-old rescue cat with IBD that is currently in remission. Last year, she had the worst flare-up she's ever had. She was down to under 7 lbs, had hourly liquid bloody poop, constant vomiting, etc. I was very close to losing her. We managed to get her flare-up under control with hydrolyzed protein cat food, daily medications that she'll have to be on for the rest of her life, as well as a bunch of supplements and B-12 shots.

I am a full-time student in a healthcare field. I do have a job, but back-to-back emergencies have left me stretched thin. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer last summer, my partner of nearly 10 years and I separated (which decimated all of my financial plans), and on top of it, my childhood cat that I've had for over half of my life was sick. In January, I got my car inspected and it failed with a $5k bill. I couldn't get it fixed until February, but that totally wiped out my savings, on top of the $3-4k I've spent on my cat the past year or so, plus $150/month in food and medications. Normally, I can afford this, but from June-August, I don't have my grants and scholarships propping up my finances. It has left me in a very hard spot.

She is doing a lot better now - she weighs 10 lbs, is finally absorbing nutrients again, only poops 1-2 times a day (although there is still occasional blood), and overall is in remission. We had her yearly checkup the other day and they found a very inflamed lymph node in her neck, and the thickening in her intestines hasn't healed even though it's been over a year.

——————————————————

The current theory is that she has intestinal lymphoma. Due to her age, we won't be doing any extensive diagnostics. We're moving straight to senior bloodwork, a GI panel, and a fecal to make sure it's not an infection or parasites (she's on steroids, so she's immunosuppressed). From there, we'll move straight to chemo, chlorambucil. She is currently in remission from IBD and is overall healthy, despite her chronic conditions. She is happy and has zero issues with quality of life.

I just need some help to bridge the gap in my finances over the summer after I've been depleted by my car. I can't ask my mom for help due to her situation, and I have no one IRL who can help me. Once the semester starts, I'll be back on track due to my scholarships and grants, and will have no problem paying for her care as I have been. I just need to get through this rough patch for a few months and get these last tests done so my cat can continue to stay in remission.

As for the amount I’m asking for, there is $300 from the appt early June, $500-600 for the next appt next month for all of the testing (not counting an ultrasound or removal of the lymph node if we have to go in that direction), and then $100 to cover her next order of food and meds.

Thank you for your time.

Daisy is looking for a good home #lima, ohio

I am looking to rehome this beautiful one year old cat! Her name is Daisy. She is very friendly, sweet, playful, and just looking for a forever home. She does very well on a harness and could be trained as a leash cat with some work. She is gaining weight, but the vets told me she would be a smaller sized cat so she is only 7 pounds now. When I found her she was quite the skinny lady. I have since gotten her to a really good weight. If youre interested in her back story or want to take her home let me know! She could be your little companion ❤️ thank you!

FREE XL kitty treadmill to any *approved* rescue in Jacksonville FL area

Hello! I am located in the Jacksonville FL area and recently was sent an extra cat treadmill when I ordered one from amazon. I was going to return it and get a refund but I decided to see if any rescues in the area would like to have it instead. The only caveat is that you would need to come pick it up yourself as I don't drive, and I am located on a third floor apartment floor that has no elevator.
