She needs urgent care + antibiotics + painkillers then eventually an enucleation when she has gained some weight. She is malnourished and feeling like crap but we’ll do whatever it takes to help her! Summer’s new parents sent in an application last week, got approved, did a virtual meet and greet, and were totally in love. We put out a call to see if any of our volunteers could help with getting Summer to Austin, TX and miraculously, one of our fosters already had a flight booked to Austin this morning! Everything just lined up and went so smoothly. Maybe she didn’t receive any apps here in NY because her family was waiting for her in TX this whole time. 🥹🥹🥹

Summer is still waiting and we still haven’t received a single app for her. 💔 She recently got a little friend named Nori and we already have people fighting for Nori because he is a cute little baby (and not even available for adoption yet).

Summer is currently being fostered on Long Island, NY. We are open to out of state adopters and can possibly find a way to transport her to you if you can’t come to NY. Mila was dumped at NYC ACC after spending 13 years with her family. Our rescue, Waggytail Rescue, pulled Mila, got her a much needed dental, but hasn’t had any luck finding her forever home. Mila has been with us since February and has not received a single application. We have networked her everywhere, showed her to many potential adopters. Nobody wants to adopt a 13yo cat. 💔

Mila is perfect. She has lived with cats, dogs, kids, and is the most easy-going cat ever. She unfortunately has been bounced between foster homes but adjusted so well every time. Her bloodwork looks great and she hasn’t had any health issues since she’s been in our care. NYC please help us spread the word! Mila really deserves a forever home. 😭

Little Summer is back from surgery. She got both eyes removed and also spayed today. The total came out to be $1700 (please click on the second image to see the full bill). We only raised about $400 with my other post so we still need over $1000. We didn’t want to wait because her eyes were having a lot of discharge. This little girl is Summer. She was rescued 2 weeks ago covered in filth, malnourished, dehydrated, and she’s also blind. Summer is only 8 weeks old. 💔

Here’s a shot in the dark because I’m desperate! Anyone in NYC interested in fostering, or better yet fostering to adopt, a blind kitten? ❤️

My rescue pulled this little one because she was put on a euth deadline at 4PM yesterday. We couldn’t find a foster, so I took her in despite already having 3 foster kittens in my care, 1 is a bottle baby, and not to mention my resident pets… It’s a lot! Her name is Tulip and she is super sweet. She loves to be held and petted. She needs some help guiding her to the food but she can eat on her own! She’s using the litter box just fine.

Tulip is with Waggytail Rescue in NYC so you’ll have to fill out the foster application and get approved first before you can take her in, but our process goes fairly quickly and we’re looking for someone who can take her ASAP. Please DM me if you’re interested in fostering Tulip!!

Hi everyone! My rescue pulled this little sweetie from our city shelter 2 weeks ago. We think she was dumped by the breeder after she broke her leg. Besides the fractured leg, she was in a horrible condition. She was filthy. Her ears were so dirty that the vet suspected she might have ear mites (thankfully she didn’t…). She has dermatitis that we’ve been treating. We would love to get her leg fixed or amputated ASAP once the dermatitis has resolved but we need donations!

It will not be cheap as we are in NYC. We’re hoping to schedule an appt with the surgeon next week for next steps so please donate if you are able to. The cheapest option (amputation) will be around $2K and we know this because we just got another kitten amputated last week. But if the surgeon advises to keep the leg, it will be much more expensive considering she will need ongoing care.

Any amount is appreciated. Thank you so much!

Hi friends! I’m fundraising for my little foster kitten, Capri Sun, who came into our city shelter with a broken leg filled with maggots. 🤮 Most of the leg has now been… decayed, but we can’t amputate the rest of it yet because he’s only 1.5lbs. This is my foster kitten, Capri Sun. His leg was crushed a few weeks ago 😢 and by the time he got to me, it was not just shattered but also severely infected and filled with maggots. We have been waiting for him to gain weight as he was barely a pound when he was rescued. He is ALMOST THERE so now we gotta raise money for his surgery.

His amputation surgery will be around $1-1.5K, so any donation is appreciated! We have also been taking him to the vet for rechecks, bandage changes, etc. so in the end it will probably add up to $2K if not more. Despite all of this, Capri is the sweetest kitten and we can’t wait until he can get that leg amputated!

Hi everyone!! We’re fostering this little sweetheart on Long Island, NY. Goose is moderate but since he is only a tiny kitten, he is still learning to adapt and could potentially be more on the mild end later on. We have only had him for over a week and he is already doing so much better compared to when he first arrived! He is very determined and capable to use the litter box on his own, although appreciates a little help whenever possible. He can’t seem to eat on his own so I sit with him while he eats. He loves to play and is the loudest purring machine! He’s living with a dog and multiple cats and gets along with everyone.

13 yo Mila is waiting for a miracle in NYC ❤️‍🩹

Abandoned at the shelter by her family of 13 years due to allergies, Mila has been patiently waiting for her forever family for months with zero interests. Mila is sweet, calm, sometimes playful.
