Ankle Instability?

I’ve been noticing my ankles rolling inward during my catch recently, which is creating not “discomfort” but an “funny-off” feeling in my ankles. It might be visible at the bottom of my catch before I get up, where my shoes lift slightly inwards.

I’ve lately been trying to be more proactive and on top of my any odd feelings to prevent injury, as injuries never fully recover when they do occur.

Has anyone else ever experienced this in their training, and what helped with addressing it?

Best Early Game Starts for WC30+?

Hi r/CurrencyWarsHSR, noob back here again seeking advice. Haven't been able to clear a run after hitting WC30. I mainly try to play whatever is even to me, then pivot to SW Lv999 or Galaxy Rangers. I try to spend my gold before the boss fights to ~30, slamming items early, and prioritizing defensive items (ex: two armor or chip) to take less damage.

However, my main issue is that I'm always losing too much health Plane 1 and 2. Any tips or guides here on how to select a strong early game bonds and how to survive/pivot into late game in current meta? Are these general strategies usually applicable in every update?

Thank you in advance!

Help! How do I play Algaea?

Hi, noob here who loves currency wars! (Been spamming it on commute, inbetween the gym sets, etc.)

Got super lucky and hit Algaea 2 star with 3 boots and Anaxa from an orb plane 1. (Found Hyacine in the early rounds too.) However, even after I three starred Algaea, I’m still loosing at not even the lowest level encounters, but also just the standard combat rounds!

Can someone teach me how to play her properly? Tried to look at old guides but it seems as if I’m still not getting it!

In town for the week, I was wondering if anyone wanted to work out together May 5th - 8th at the gym in East Boston YMCA? Happy to help with form if needed, avid weightlifter of 10 years.

Response:

Hi everyone, OP here. Wanted to write a thank-you post to thank everyone for not only reading my post but also willingly sharing their experiences. I read each and every single comment a few times, from the story of clinical experiences to professors, and genuinely appreciate the community here (shout out to the random mod that took out the assumed hate comment, before I got a chance to read it!) I'm also extremely happy to hear that not everyone has those experiences. To be frank, I wasn't comfortable talking with anyone in my cohort or staff because I didn't want to show any "weakness," since unspoken mental resilience, which was highly valued in judging the students, was valued in this program. As a result, this was genuinely the outlet I needed.

I also apologize for not being able to share more details, as what I'm going through can be very specific, and I might end up doxing myself to the point where other students in my program might recognize me, since we are all currently going through the same thing. I definitely wrote that post with lots of emotion as I just lost my best friend in the cohort during the program (they didn't pass), so I wanted to clarify that when I said "hazing" in my previous post, I wasn't referring to military hazing, but more of my experience in Greek life.

I thought a lot about this, and I decided that it wasn't worth it to jump into the rabbit hole of responding to people's different views, so I decided to leave it by saying one thing: I'm not here to discount anyone's experiences. I'm sure what they went through was bad, and it helped them build character to become the mentally resilient person they are today. However, what is the point of comparing your trauma to mine just to discount my experience? People go through different experiences and different hardships; what matters most is that we all try our best with the strengths, effort, hard work, and experiences we were given.

I am not calling anyone out, but I genuinely hope that the comments some people made behind a screen do not reflect the way they are in real life with patients, as this is not how we as nurses should ever be demonstrating compassionate care. To those who are open-minded and reading this, I write this not of ill will or to "retort back," but hope this can be a teaching moment so that we can all be amazing future nurses for our patients.

Most importantly, I hope my writing finds other student nurses who might be in a similar situation. This is evidence that you are not alone; other people are going through it too! Know that there is a community here that is supportive, welcoming, and a place where you can also find some reassurance! So to all the student nurses who are trying to finish and going through similar experiences, don't give up and push through! And to all the nurses already, thank you again for showing that not all nurses "eat their young," and I hope that we do cross paths in the work field in the future!

Original Post: Curious about how many other people feel the same way.

I don't know how other people's experiences are, but for some background, I'm currently doing a career change, coming from a corporate background, and now I'm currently in an accelerated program. When I say the nursing program is hazing, I mean that these programs make you constantly doubt yourself, give you anxiety, stress, burnout, and lack of sleep. The fact that you see other students drop out around you in the first semester, then make you feel like one bad grade is literally the end of the world (where you can't afford to mess up again), on top of the type of exam questions asked, and if you're using certain platforms, you can't even see or review the questions that you got wrong!

I literally never had these extremes of emotions in my previous role, or even my life until this semester. Even during my short break in between, I've become a nervous wreck. Am I alone, or have other people experienced this too?
