Question regarding “investment of the chain master”

I’m sure this wouldn’t be optimal as it costs 2 invocations and the familiar will still have very low hit points. but would this allow me to choose a medium sized familiar and give it a flying speed to have a flying mount on a small sized PC?

Playing a light domain cleric in an upcoming one shot. I obviously want the shield spell as well as longstride and jump. Starting as a sorc at level 1 would be nice for that con saving throw. Wizard would allow me to get all 3 of these spells as well as a find familiar. Magic initiate does not delay my cleric abilities but only 1 spell tho it would give me a free cast

Two questions regarding the new dhampir for 2024

Can I still use the bite with my martial arts die if I am a monk? Other question is the spider climb ability it says you have a climb speed and at lv3 you can walk up vertical surfaces and upside down with your hands free. Does this mean at level 1 I can climb fast but I must climb normally and then at level 3 I can just walk on walls or does it mean I just have to be level 3 to use the feature?

How to play a shadow monk without being THAT guy?

How to use darkness frequently which you can see in and allies can not without being disruptive or annoying other players? Specifically in melee you are potentially stopping allies with the wording x number of targets you can see and while if both creatures are blinded in melee you don’t give allies disadvantage but it can kind of ruin the way martial characters describe and imagine themselves fighting

I was an AC in the navy for 3 years and very recently was adseped as a result of an NJP where I was charged with an article 92. My discharge is under honorable conditions (general) with a JKQ separation code. I have no CTO or RAPCON because I got kicked out before I could train on a major position. So off the street is probably the path I would have to go down and do the school house which I’m fine with. Would my characterization of discharge be a disqualifying factor?

I just separated from the military about a month ago. I am trying to find a job but my character of discharge is making it quite difficult. Every job in my area requires a background check to make more than minimum wage even got turned away at Walmart. So a few questions I have been considering; if I did not wish to use veterans hiring preference I would not necessarily be required to disclose my military service or show my DD214 right? If I decided not to would that still show up on a background check and be considered fraud? Would it even be worth it since pretty much all of my work experience has come from the military?

For a bit of context I was kicked out of the military for insubordination and my work experience was Air Traffic Control for 3 years.
