Miniature pen drawing of the Baron

This is supposed to be Baron Harkonnen, floating in his weird goo pool; don’t love the final result, but it was still good drawing practice (I drew it as part of the ”Inktober” artist challenge.)

What I do love is the Villeneuve movies’ portrayal of the Baron: I was worried he’d come off as kind of campy, but he was all sinister malice. So well done.

If I use the latest version of Microsoft Word, is its AI scraping what I write?

My subscription to the old, pre-AI Word just ran out. I was hoping to download Home Office 2024, but my Mac is too old. I can use the online version (and possibly the new 365 version?) but I'm concerned the copilot AI is going to train itself on my writing. Regardless, I don't want copilot anyway. Is there an alternative Word processor out there that doesn't involve AI?

I know poetry can be very subjective, even in the already subjective realm of literature, but this book was a surprise gem for me, and I’d love to find something similar.
