Need advice — doctor keeps refusing sterilisation

I’ve asked for a bisalp/tubal ligation twice, but the doctor keeps telling me I’m “too young” and might regret it.
I already have kids, I don’t want any more, I don’t want anything that messes with my hormones, and I want something permanent. I’ve explained this multiple times, but she keeps suggesting other forms of contraception instead.

Has anyone been through something similar? How did you find a doctor who would actually take you seriously and discuss permanent sterilisation with you? Any advice would be appreciated.

edit: I know this is Reddit & some may have different opinions, but please no judgement guys I’m very very drained

Do y’all think my newborn is a Munchkin or is it too early to tell? 👀

Hey! My kitten was born on 3 August, so they’re only about 6 days old and I don’t even know the gender yet 😂

They’re a singleton, and the mum is a Munchkin. I’m wondering if the baby inherited the short-leg trait because the front legs already look pretty thick/chunky compared to what I usually see on newborn kittens.

I know it’s probably super early to tell, but what do y’all think? Munchkin or am I just seeing what I want to see? 😂🐱

I’ve attached a few photos!

AITAH for being angry our cats?

- I love my husband to death, he's a good father & husband. But sometimes like an ordinary marriage, he gets on my last nerves, lol. Also I'm not a pet person, hence asking advice.
I have been married to my husband for 9 years and we have kids.
I grew up in a pet-free household and have never owned any pets. I've always been afraid of cats because I wasn't raised around them. I also have asthma and am allergic to fur. Before we got married, I made it clear to my husband that I was scared of cats and that living with them would be difficult for me.

My husband grew up with cats. The first time I visited his family home, they had 18 cats.
After 9 years of marriage and finally getting our own home, he kept begging me for one cat.

I eventually agreed because I wanted to make him happy, and I was the one who bought him that one cat. A few months later, he came home with a second cat, saying his friend gave it to him. I wasn't happy because that wasn't what we agreed on, but let it go. I repeatedly told him that if we had a male and female cat, they needed to be neutered before they ended up having kittens.

Every time I brought it up, he brushed it off or said we'd do it later. He also promised the cats would be his responsibility. He said he'd feed them, clean the litter boxes, and take care of them. Instead, I ended up doing most of it while also looking after our kids, cooking, cleaning, and managing the house. I'm also a full-time stay-at-home mom, so already have a lot on my plate.

That's exactly why I kept asking him to get the cats neutered, since they were supposed to be his responsibility. To make matters worse, my son also has asthma. Now l've found out the female cat is pregnant.
I'm exhausted, overwhelmed, and frustrated. I feel like I compromised by agreeing to one cat, only for him to bring home another without asking, ignore my concerns about getting them fixed, and leave me with the responsibilities he promised to handle.

AITA for being angry that he ignored our agreement and now we're dealing with the consequences?
PSA: Before anyone asks, yes, both cats will be spayed/ neutered as soon as it's safe after the kittens are born. I know they should have been tixed sooner, and I've been asking for that from the beginning.

Why do some people see a stroller and still squeeze in first?

*Edit: Since this keeps coming up: I know I can’t control strangers or force anyone to give way. My post was simply saying it’d be nice if people gave a little priority to parents with strollers, wheelchair users and the elderly when they’re queueing for the lift. That’s all.*
Add: Also, I don’t condone cutting the queue. Everyone has somewhere to be, and I’m not saying parents with strollers should get to skip the line. I’m talking about the people who see a stroller already waiting in front of them but still push past to get into the lift first. That’s the behaviour I was referring to.

Eh why ah some people so hard to give way to parents with strollers at lifts? 😭

Like broooo, you see someone with a stroller, baby inside, why still rush in first and squeeze until the parent has to wait for the next lift?

Able-bodied people can literally take the escalator if they want. Parents with strollers cannot just carry everything up and down like that, especially when the lift is crowded.

Common sense and basic courtesy leh. Give way to people who need the space more thank u! 💀
