My drop pod slammed into the ground just at the edge of the humans town. I jumped ourz my rifle at the ready as my squad rallied. Raising one of my 4 hands i signaled our point to lead the way clearing the first human house. We already could hear the shouts and fire of battle deeper in the town.

We moved quickly, spotting s human hiding at some plants i we all quickly fired at them, hearing the telltale splat of our rounds before we rushed the house and breached the door.

Quickly moving in i signaled us to go forward, moving to the stair and moved alowly up. "Hey guys " we all spun at the sound of the humans voice, drawing our rifles. 4 quickly shots, echoed off from Thruvslkas side arm, the human had managed to sneak up right behind us and take it from the holster on his side.

After a moment I laughed and raised all four hands along with my team, the neon green paint splattered across all our armor and Thruvslka mask. "Alrightx we're out. By the void you humans are quiet!" We all laughed, leaving to join the others outside.

"Of course. You guys are 8 foot tall and you move like drunk elk. I'll catch up at the cook out later."

We all just laughed and headed out to to join the others. I think we were going to lose the annual invasion day this year. But the cookout after was always a victory.
