I feel like the moment Rory jumped with Logan, deep down she already knew she had no future with Dean.
And honestly, I don’t even think she loved Dean at that point, but maybe hadn’t fully realized she outgrown the stars hollow comfort

The jump feels like Rory discovering that there is SO much more life out there than the future she once imagined for herself. She could be spontaneous, take risks, do crazy things, meet people, go places
Dean was part of the life Rory thought she was supposed to want, but Logan showed her a completely different one, and it was also was when she started to gravitate towards Emily’s and Richard’s world
