The main story is actually good (no spoilers)

So I have 76 hours in this game. I did a lot of side content before picking up the main story again. To be fair, it did kinda start to feel like a little bit of a drag at the end, but… now that I picked up the main story again and learned about Naoe’s and Yasuke’s past I feel so excited again.

For players like me, who’s favorite Assassin’s Creed game is still Brotherhood, and who dont really need the open world, RPG stats, and so many side quests, there still is a very good reason to play this game. At this point the present day (now Anomaly) story is very cryptic compared to Desmond’s, but it’s okay.

I felt so relieved and happy when the mysterious and personal story started to get some pace again. That’s what I have always loved in Assassin’s Creed (and I played nearly all of them). A major tip for players like me is thus to focus on the main story and maybe skip some side content.

Edit: crypto=cryptic*

What happened to Luther when first Protestant church emerged?

When reconciliation attempts of Pope Leo X and Martin Luther about his 95 theses failed between 1518-1521, Protestantism was set into motion. In the 16th century, the first Protestant churches emerged. What became of Luther then?

In this article you can read about the discovery of early copies of Paul’s epistles. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it does how chapters were ordered differently. Amazing to see it dating back to the sixth century!

On the webpage linked in the comments you can view the actual manuscript.

My dad got into gaming, so I got him an old Xbox. Now I found these and for the both of them I only paid €5,-. I remember these as two of the best games in the series. Inside it still has all the booklets with lore and gameplay mechanics.

With the new speculations around the Trump administration and disclosure (let’s wait two more weeks by the way), and with the allegedly non-coincidental disappearance of scientists, the classic argument is becoming popular again that actual disclosure would be problematic, because our society - especially the religious part - wouldn’t be able to handle it.

But is that really the case? If you look at this article from 2023, you can see how the Vatican is actually speculating and investigating ET life. In Catholic doctrine, such life is just considered part of Creation. An actual discovery would be welcomed. Or would there be something about a disclosure that goes beyond this? What could it be that we aren’t able to handle?

(Wow sorry for the long sentence at the beginning)
