My Squishmallow Bigfoot Collection!

These are all of the bigfoots (plus two mallow moods Benny and Nanette not on thr photo, and the two Benny McDonald's toys) that I have collected since around the second month of this year. Most have been bought from Vinted (90%) and ones like the Mofusang and Mallow Moods from Entertainer and other places.

Any questions? (^ー^)

I thinnk I might have trichotillomania, but how do I bring it up to my parents?

I've been pulling out my eyebrow hair for a year and a half now, (maybe even longer). Sometimes it's my eyelashes, sometimes it's just the hair on my head.

To describe my experience with it, I'll pull out my eyebrow hairs, and if I get quite a few on one pull I'll keep going. If I don't get any after a few pulls I try and scratch my eyebrow to bury my fingernails in there and pull at different angles. I often have episodes of it, (if you would call it that) especially in class, when I'll be sitting there for 50 minutes hacking at my brows. I leave class not knowing half my eyebrow is gone and when I check my face in either a small mirror or in the bathroom I see what damage I did. The baddest it's got was about a year ago, when I pulled both my eyebrows out and in a photo I have of myself, the hairs I had left could barely combine to make half a brow. They bleed a bit a few times, and it stung really bad on one of my eyebrows once which stopped me for a bit, but I moved to pulling my hair out instead.

Whenever my parents see I have a whole eyebrow missing, they get super angry and tell me to stop pulling it. My dad shouts at me for it.

But they don't understand that I can't help it.

I used to do it mostly at school, when I'm sitting in class I just start pulling at my eyebrows, but now I find myself pulling them out at home, at a hangout, everywhere.

I've searched up ways to bring it up to my parents but all I got was something from Google, I really need people with experience to help me. I was considering booking an appointment with my doctor to get diagnosed, but I don't want to go behind my parents' back, and I'm also under 18 so I'm not sure if I can.

I've tried multiple ways to prevent it; when my nails get really long they attach to stuff and accidentally break, which stops me from pulling out my eyebrows; I put some sort of face cream (I have flaky skin) on my eyebrows too and it works to some extent, but then I have sticky fingers.

I told my friends about a year ago I thought I had it, but none of them really cared. When I'm at school people notice my missing eyebrow, and I had to lie once because I didn't want to explain, saying that my brother tried to shave it off, (a guy in my form had his shaved off by his sister so I copied that basically) but near the last few weeks of school before the summer holiday, a girl in my class asked me where my eyebrow was and I admitted I pulled them out, as nobody seemed to care what I had going on.

I would really appreciate the help. Anything; how to sort of prevent doing it, how to bring it up to my parents, anything at all.

Thankyou 🙃

Seller trying to gaslight me??

To start, I brought this parcel almost a month ago now, I believe, and it was these small squishmallow squish-a-longs (they are basically small plastic squishmallows to put on a ring)

When my parcel arrived, that was the time when I regretted not checking this person's reviews.

I open my parcel and find a stain on every single item. I leave a review, but pathetically. Forget to message the seller and ask them why there were stains. But thankfully, they responded to my review telling me that they must have smudged each other in transit, but I happened to have a hunch and check the original listing and I find the stains on the ONE photo they provided (and angled so I wouldn't see them.)

I don't bother trying to tell them that they were trying to gaslight me. But they know I'm catching on, so they remove one star from their review on my profile and changed it from "smooth buyer" to "average buyer", which tried to piss me off and did, because I'm a very angry person when it comes to small things like this)

I responded to their review feedback on their profile, saying that they looked more like marker stains because one of the stains was purple, and none of the items were purple. (And changed my review to 3 stars and blocked them, because I didn't really want to start an argument. I also stupidly decided to put in my edit along with that that I had no issue with there being stains there could have really let me know.)

Then at night on the same day, I take a hike and scroll all of their reviews and all of them, almost all of them, have the same issue. I happen to be the only person she hasn't insulted or blown upon. Thankfully.

Her reviews would either be one star or would be 4 stars talking about some stain, and she would respond saying that they should have let her know, but I found reviews that did let her know! (and she wanted them to pay delivery to send it back!!)

On one of the reviews talking about a stain, she said something like "Im sorry. I can refund your £1," which is so obviously sarcasm and an arsed reply. That means she knows she's selling stuff with stains on and doesn't like to admit it.

I would happily drop her user but I fear I don't want to start anything else as this is the only thing I'm ever going to say about her.

Anyone else had this happen?

( Also, please don't start any arguments because the last Vinted I made people were getting into arguments and I really don't want to have to read through all that let alone have people get mad at my post 😶‍🌫️)

Why are you selling on Vinted if you can't get your parcels out?

This hasn't happened to me but when I'm going through reviews, I always see people complaining, saying that the parcel never arrived because the seller didn't send it out, or the seller asked for more time.

The seller always responds with something like they were busy or "sorry that I have a life", but why are you selling on Vinted if you can't be bothered to ship at the item or if you have no time to ship it out at ALL.

It obviously doesn't apply to the people who eventually ship the items or just have weeks or a certain time period where they can't ship it out (but eventually do), but you should seriously not sell on there if you don't have anytime whatsoever to take the item out and send it.

This isn't meant to hate, I just thought I'd say this.

( I'm only about two months into using Vinted but I see this a lot. )
