Reports say her hands and legs were tied, and petrol had been poured on her body. Had locals not reached the spot in time, this could have become yet another horrifying headline about a daughter losing her life.
If even a woman journalist is not safe, what does that say about the safety of ordinary women? Where are all those loud claims about women’s security now?
