Carnival Magic Miami October 31st

We cruised out of Miami in January 2026, I know the port can suck with traffic. We did the earliest arrival and it was pretty easy.

Has anyone done a later arrival, such as noon or 1:00 pm recently in Miami? What was your experience?

We are parking in a parking at Safe Cruise Parking in 2nd street and using their shuttle service.

Thanks for your feedback!

Why the Switch from Miami to Galveston?

I remember all of the hype that MaS Beachcomber was coming to Miami, then all of a sudden, the ship will switch to Galveston. Was this always by design? Why wouldn’t they just base it in Galveston from the start?

Anyone know the true story?

I am doing the Alaska trip next month on Carnival Spirit. We are staying in a balcony cabin, 7145. Has anyone else stayed in this room on any of the Spirit
Class ships that can tell me what you thought about this cabin. Anything else you can share about the balcony’s on deck 7 as well.

Thanks!

Gift Cards for Adding to your Spending Account

I know you can use a credit card, or bring and add cash, as well as buying Carnival Gift cards to add to your spending account while on board for the casino, bars and stores. Are there any other type of gift cards that you can purchase and add the cash value
To your spending account? Trying to minimize the amount of cash I carry on board.

Also, where do you buy the gift cards?

I appreciate any guidance or feedback anyone can share with me.

Hotel Recommendations Near Seattle Port

We will be cruising from Seattle to Alaska in September, looking for Hotel recommendations for one or two days prior to departure.
What are the reasons you recommend this Hotel?
Is it within walking distance of the port?
Anything else close by that is interesting to see or do?

I appreciate your feedback/recommendations.
