Should I read from the start when I didnt like main characters?

I am a few episodes away from finishing season 6 and thought "maybe ill just read the last 3.. maybe 4 books" as ive heard season 6 has a lot crammed in to it. And so I did some looking on reddit and the general consensus is read from the start.. and ill be honest.. that sounds painful lol

Basically, I love the roci crew together.. hate them apart. The only character I like separately is Amos. (I could watch a series purely with just him lol) Holden, Naomi and Alex kinda annoy me (Naomi more than the others) so I am not sure i can put myself through all the books ( I want to know the ending though)

My fave characters are Bobbie and Chrisjen. When Bobbie is on the roci I get excited but yeah when they're all apart I struggle and get bored easily.

Should i just take a massive break after I finish the show and down the line read them all or if I dont enjoy the crew separately not bother ?

I honestly dont understand how i love the show so much when I dont really care about the main crew 🤣 doesnt make much sense lol

Flare ups/infection/fatigued, possible mis diagnose with sleep apnea

Hello hello, first time posting here and its a bit of a doozy. I also posted this in another sub reddit because honestly icfeel like i cant be the only person who has experienced this. So.. a couple of years ago I got tested for sleep apnea. I was/still am fatigued and struggle to wake up in the mornings. I can sleep 9 to 12 hours without batting an eye. I did the 24 hour test where they strap you up (it was in some dudes home it was so unprofessional lol) and wore it for 24 hours blah blah and it came back positive for I think mild sleep apnea. My issue.. is i dont believe i have it. You tell the doctor my symptoms and thats what they push but genuinely I dont have "apneas" I am confused because now it's on my charts.. and I had to get a bloody cpap machine. The one time I was able to wear it all through the night I had not one single apnea. The woman I saw for the machine was astounded. And basically agreed with me that it doesnt seem like apneas were my issue (but try telling a doctor that) anyway fast-forward a year or 2 and ive been recently diagnosed with adhd (a condition that greatly affects sleep and more specifically *difficulty waking*) I go through cycles, sometimes I can sleep 9 hours and wake up good. Other times 12 plus I am still cooked.

And *then* I ended up in hospital, went in for a lanced wound (yay HS) to be checked and was kept in for an infection. And I realised I had been sleeping 12 plus hours and *struggling* all without having any clue i had an infection.. So now I am sitting here really contemplating whether those bad bouts of sleep is infections caused by my HS and ive just had no idea my body was fighting an active infection.. or maybe its just my adhd.. either way I could not be bothered seeing my doctor about it right now. I am in no headspace to be told "its probably sleep apnea" again. Its a long shot but I would be interested to know what others have been through in regards to sleep and fatigue. Genuinely not being able to force myself awake at a normal time does my head in lol

Positive test but I have doubts

Hi there, a couple of years ago I got tested for aleep apnea.

And *then* I ended up in hospital, went in for a lanced wound to be checked and was kept in for an infection. And I realised I had been sleeping 12 plus hours and *struggling* all without having any clue i had an infection. I have HS so I get lumps and bumps and its basically an inflammatory condition which more times than not I think is causing infections. So now I am sitting here really contemplating whether those bad bouts of sleep is infections ive had no idea was happening or just my adhd.. either way I could not be bothered seeing my doctor about it right now. I am in no headspace to be told "its probably sleep apnea" again. And ugh honestly i dont even know if this is where I should post this but I needed an outlet for my thoughts. If anyone has had a positive test but dont think they actually have sleep apnea lemme know, I would be interested to know what others have been through.

Jaundice after 6 weeks/dummy myth?

My niece was born early, thankfully not too early, only 2 and a bit weeks early. Her sugar levels weren't good and was in and out of the nicu, she got jaundice, stayed in that little contraption and eventually her levels were good and she went home. Shes now just over 6 weeks old, shes still jaundice. Everyone we talk to (health professionals) says its okay but heres the thing, shes throwing up everything (milk is supose to flush the jaundice out or something) and because it isn't "forceful vomit" they arent worried. Its every meal and we have done *everything* . She now has a "flat spot" which throws me as my little niece has been so desperate for comfort after being alone in the nicu that we hold her a lot. I dont understand how it happened but it did. Now the doctor today said she's not gaining any weight you need to not use a dummy because shes using more calories than she is putting in. But these- *fuckwits* wont do anything about it. "Shes not gaining weight" well yeah no fucking shit shes throwing up all her milk. But thats "just spill" nothing to worry about. Let's blame a dummy instead of doing anything about it.

Has anyone experienced this.. is the dummy actually bad ? It comforts her, shes a very colicy baby, the poor thing is going to struggle without it.

Sorry for the rant and desperation.. I didnt know where to go.. so much is happening and we are struggling to keep on top of it/understand what to do.. , I tried looking on google and there is so many different answers and you're probably thinking "you should ask an actual doctor" but we have and they haven't done shit.. except fear monger? I just don't understand, yes shes preemi but I dont think the dummy is the problem, more the fact she cant keep anything down.

Also we have been advised against infocol 🙃

So much happened throughout my sisters pregnancy, she had um.. ABO, I think its called? They didnt do any testing and we were all confused why everything was hitting the fan and then we find this out. They never tested, they never took my sister seriously and now we are all terrified we are getting wrong information/they arent actually exploring when its so obvious something is up.

Doctor made me cry

Prescribing doctor made me feel shit cause "I dont work" after I said ritalin did nothing at all for me "how would we know that when you dont work".

I do a bunch of stuff online (modding, writing etc) so *I know* ritalin didn't do shit.. but you know its everyone else's opinions that matter.. not mine. Although my mum said she could tell it wasnt doing anything. To which he went "oh okay" like her word means more than mine- the person who is dealing with this shit.

I am just.. I cant believe I just experienced that. I dont put my worth in whether I work or not but God damn do I feel like absolute shit right now.
