1st time trying spores to Agar

Hi guys. I need a little help here. I’ve been doing LC to agar, and agar to grain for a bit and have a good grip on it. I recently tried doing spores to agar to try it out. After a long while, one of them seems to be doing its thing. But this looks fuzzy, when I was expecting it to be more thread-like as it spread out. Is this even mycelium in the first place? If it is, should I try doing to agar > agar to see what happens next? Which section would you recommend cutting out? Any suggestions would help. If you need a better pic, let me know.

I try this on PT every once in a while and nobody has been able to help. I just saw a comment about the 6/11/94 tape with the FM source and figured I’d give it a whirl here.

7/1/95 at Great Woods was broadcast over FM in the Boston area over WBCN. I had my mom tape if for me while I was at the show, so I had a pretty clean copy back in the day. There are two highlights:

my personal favorite Hood ever
a BCN guy named Carter Allen interviews Mike during (I think) the break between Set 2 and the encore. It’s super awkward and awesome.

Here is where I need help. That tape was lost decades ago. None of the FM sources I’ve ever been able to find since then have the interview. I am DYING to hear it again.

Anybody have the 7/1/95 FM Source audio that contains the interview?!

I was away for around a week and therefore wasn’t able to put my jars on the magnetic stirrer. I came back and saw this in the PE LC jar. I’m very afraid this is mold/something bad. This isolated strain has been very aggressive in the past. Any chance this is just mycelium growing like this from not being stirred?
