Do I take the OPAT first then MEPS or go to MEPS first then OPAT?

Need advice. Will turn 32 in 8 days. 

Married. No kids (we want kids). 

I have a bachelor’s degree in communications. 6 years of corporate marketing experience. 1 extra year of corporate internship marketing experience. Laid off from marketing jobs three times since COVID (2020). Tired of this unstable life, corporate America culture, working with dweebs and kiss asses. 

Need to provide for my wife and future kids. Need more purpose than just being a capitalistic machine. I believe serving this country in the Army will provide that.

Interested in the Direct Commission Program to Public Affairs or taking the OCS route and going into Public Affairs or Psyops when I’m eligible.

Looking for some advice from people more experienced in video production pricing than I am.

Quick background on me: I've been editing video for almost 20 years, mostly through running my own YouTube channel. For the last 10 years I've worked in marketing roles where video production was sometimes part of my job, so I've touched pre-production, production, and post-production along the way. That said, this is the first time an actual organization has reached out to me directly for video production services, so I'm a little out of my depth on pricing this properly.

The client is a labor union based in a high cost of living area (think California or New York level expensive). They want two explainer-style story videos, each around 2-4 minutes. One video is about the union itself, and the other is about a specific program the union is promoting.

I want to give them two package options to choose from:

Package 1 — I write the script, use an AI-generated voiceover, design the frames/graphics, and edit the full video. No camera work involved, this would be more of a motion graphics/explainer style video using stock footage, AI tools, etc.

Package 2 — Everything in Package 1, but I also handle the camera work and shoot original footage to use in the video. Important caveat here: I'm not a professional cinematographer. My only hands-on camera experience comes from my last marketing role, where I shot footage over about 16 months. I want my pricing to reflect that I'm capable but not a seasoned camera operator.

What should I price these two packages?
