Guidance in choosing the coaching for CFA L1 in India.

I am an MBA, Opting for CFA L1 in Feb-27.

I am thinking of joining a coaching because I don't have a roadmap and conceptual clarity in a few subjects. I did some research and found a few big names for CFA guides.

I am planning to complete the syllabus in the next 3 months, as I am free all day. I have budget constraints and can afford a course ranging between 15k to 20k.

Which coaching do you think will be best for CFA L1?
(If you are affiliated with any, what are its perks and drawbacks?)

Confuse whether to accept the contractual job offer or find another job while pursuing CFA L1?

Little context: I have an offer for a 6-month contractual US tax associate role for a day shift of 12 hrs. It's not the desired role, since I wanted to work at an Equity Research firm. I have already registered for the CFA L1 Feb-27 attempt and am studying regularly.

While I was interviewing with the company, I was told that Jan to Apr is the peak season and that I may have to work extra hours, including on weekends. I still have not received my offer letter, and my Joining date is 1 Nov 26. So I still have 2.5 months to prepare.

Now, my question is: should I accept the offer and take the Feb 27 attempt in the peak season, or decline the offer, join a different firm, and continue CFA prep?

p.s. (I am an MBA 26 and don't want a gap year after post-grad, and I don't have any other offers).

I have completed my MBA from Tier-3 college, I am trying to break into equity research role but unable to get a job or internship

I have completed my MBA from a tier 3 college. (ik getting a core finance job through tier 3 is hard). I have been trying to get into equity research. For that, I started making my independent research and report writing to improve my CV.

As of now, all I have managed to do is give 2 interviews. 1st interviewer straight away rejected me in the 1st round (Fair, I was not prepared enough).

After 2 months of wait I got another opportunity with a Lala company, that too for an internship (PPO was going to be offered based on my performance). I decided to go for it even though the pay was not much, but to get some relevant experience.

I gave 3 rounds for that, 1st was a finance-based test (cleared), 2nd was a technical interview (mf took 2.5 hr interview), still aced it. Now, as expected from Lala Company, they asked for another round with some big shot guy. Went for it and answered everything except one question because I couldn't recall the data.

I was sure I would get selected. HR told me that she will let me know the result. After a few days of waiting, I contacted her and told me to wait till evening, and she called me the next day.

Result- Rejected

Asked for reason - We are only hiring CFAs or Tier 1/2 MBAs

Now I'm blank.

Questioning my reality, is this even worth it?

My parents gave me everything I needed. They supported my every decision I was making for my career. In return, I couldn't even land a job in a small firm.

Usually, I am a strong-minded guy. I don't let external factors affect me. I am doing everything to prove myself, but it breaks my heart when I get rejected, not because of skills, but my background, as if the outcome was already decided.

Any suggestions?

Should I pursue a different path, or keep trying for the next opportunity?

Any other suggestions you can give to improve?

I was sure I would get selected. HR told me that she will let me know the result. After a few days of waiting, I contacted her and told me to wait till evening, and she called me the next day.
