Something that one might dance to at a club (or idk if club is the right word but just like a place where people dance). Something like slowish and sexy.
I’m not sure if this is allowed because it’s not for me, but I have a friend who is the sole caregiver for her parent who I think aligns with the theme of this sub (I don’t know her actual diagnosis, but from what I hear about narcissism it suits her).
My friend takes care of her mother whenever she’s not working, and no matter how much time and effort she puts in her mother treats her terribly.
My friend refuses to hire someone else to take care of her because she feels like it’s her duty to take care of her mother as she’s dying. She feels like she dealt with the abuse long enough when she was well that it would be wrong of her to turn her back on her while she’s dying.
There is no conversation with my friend that will make her approach the care situation any differently. She is firmly set on being her mother’s caretaker to the end. (I’m not saying she should or shouldn’t do this, just explaining that this is the situation so any advice that is aimed towards hiring a caretaker or putting her in a home is just not going to happen).
Because she is set on doing this, is there anything she can do to help manage the stress and pain she is experiencing? I feel so badly for her, they are fighting all the time no matter how much my friend tries. I think she hopes her mom will chill out at some point but it’s really only getting worse. Her mom antagonizes her to the point of tears, nothing is ever good enough. When she was younger she would just leave, but now that her mom isn’t capable of taking care of herself she just has to sit there and accept it.
I can tell it’s getting to a point where she can’t handle it anymore, but she’s going to white knuckle her way through it. I want to help her but I don’t know how.
I’m looking for movies with aliens that either talk or communicate in some way, so like not just like straight up monsters attacking kind of thing.
I want to watch more things where aliens have some sort of agenda.
Edit: I guess I should also say I would like it to include invading aliens, so not a movie with just aliens in space, but aliens that are invading another species planet.
