Are "Polka Dan's Beetbox Band" playing in Neptune's this year?

hey

I travelled to Cape Cod two years ago with my partner, saw many great things. But the event I preferred out of most was Polka Dan's Beetbox Band playing at Neptunes on Main street. It was in October, so kind of an Oktoberfest celebration, with pumpkin spiced ale and a pretzel truck

Does anyone know is that an annual thing? They don't seem to post upcoming gigs online. We wouldn't travel over from Ireland for just this, but it would be nice to know in advance if they were playing

thanks a mill,

Travelling, looking for a small pack that can loop into belt, for passport, phone and wallet

hi

I'm going travelling in a couple of weeks, I'm looking for a small pack that can loop into belt, for passport, phone and wallet. It only has to be big enough for those 3 items, and needs to be looped onto my belt, so I literally can't lose it.

Usually when I travel I have a panic about 2 or 3 times over the course of the day about losing my wallet, passport, phone or combinations of all three. My girlfriend says if it keeps happening she it going travelling without me in future. I told her not to threaten me with a good time! :)

It would be cool if it looked kind of utilitarian, and also was cheap
But those two things not a dealbreaker

thanks in advance,

Is Adrian Tchaikovsky the most prolific modern sci-fi author

This is probably going to get me severely downvoted, but Adrian Tchaikovsky has currently written about 30 novels in the last 10 years. That's 3 novels a year, one novel every 4 months. And that pace started from his first novel, in 2016.

I started with, and really liked, "Children of Time" and absolutely loved "the Doors of Eden". I said I was going to keep up with his releases. I kept up with the "Children of" series, and started "the Shards of Earth" series and some other of his series, but there were so many books released, so frequently it was hard to do.

Peter F Hamilton for comparison has written 40 over a 30 year career. I was able to keep up with that. Stephen King has written 60 odd books, over a 40 year career, and there are some of his back catalogue I'm trying to catch up on. Iain M Banks only wrote 10 science fiction novels in the Culture series. I have read all of them, several repeatedly.

But 30 novels, in ten years feels like they are either not going through sufficient editing\drafts, or there is technological assistance being used. Either way, it put me off reading all of his novels. Has he ever spoke about how quickly he can write and release books?

edit -
Removed any suggestion of AI. To be fair, I was suggesting more along the lines of Structuring, editing, grammar checking, and possibly Voice to Text. AI wasn't as readily available in 2016, when his began publishing

No public transport options, at all, past 8.20pm from Dublin to Carlow

I landed in Dublin airport yesterday. I wasn't exactly sure which bus to book in advance, not being sure when I would be through arrivals. I was in Dublin airport through customs about 8pm. I went to book jj kavanagh's bus at 8.30pm, but it was already sold out. The only other option was a bus at 12.05am the next morning, which only has 3 seats remaining at that time. Rather than wait 4 hours in the airport I asked my brother in law to pick me up. The fact that there is no public transport between Dublin and Carlow past 8.20pm is unbelievably bad public transport options.

They recently cut the express way service between Dublin and Waterford. So many people depended on that service, for commuting and as an option for social events in the capital. There is only one service remaining, a private company that provides one bus, that picks up at the airport, more often that not being complete sold out before it even arrives in Dublin city

I don't even think JJ Kavanagh lobbied the government for complete monopolistic control of that route, I actually just think FF/FG handed it to them. They must be delighted with this scenario. It's a complete anti-trust violation, offering no competitive services.

tl;dr, If you are from Carlow and want to work or to attend an event in Dublin, you better be ready to rely on private car ownership and be fully capable to drive. Despite taxes you pay, the public transport services in and out of this county have been absolutely gutted.

Why when I'm viewing photos in tripadvisor, does it insist on showing me an gross ad with a fungal infected toe

Any time I'm viewing photos on tripadvisor, the bottom left of the page is taken up with a disgusting advert for a fungal toe infection treatment

I have shown no interest in a product like this, nor do I like looking at it when trying to view photos. There is no way to bock it

Can I use the Aqara chime with the Tapo doorbell?

I'm interested in getting the Tapo D205 Video Door bell. I think it looks tidier than the newer models, with bundled chimes. I have a chime/hub from my current aqara doorbell, does anyone know can I use the Aqara chime with the Tapo doorbell? I really just need the chime functionality

thanks
