I was running with my dog and got stopped by a lady saying I was running with my dog wrong and that he is supposed to trot ,she sayd that he can die if he doesnt. Is that true? I've just started running

Does anyone host dnd sessions for beginners??

I've started play dnd afew months ago, at a small cafe where i pay 6£ per 3h session, and I'll be honest its not like in the i expected i still enjoy it but if feels like i am hanging out with friends more than playing dnd, there is barely any character description from the dm and the players, and the dm usualy focus in one person for like 1h.

He has only explained to me how to make a character sheet only once and assumed I knew it than proceeds to get slightly annoyed when I get the edition wrong,I dint know there where diffrent additions they asked us to make them at home,there was never a session zero,and he never tought me how to actualy use the dice, most of the things I had to learn at home.sometimes we spend 2h out of the 3h doing nothing becouse the dm is thinking of a one shot that all the players will enjoy.

Idk how or what a dms should do becouse the only one I can compare to is a podcast that is probably highly produced behind the scenes.

I probably forgot afew thing but this is all I can remember that he does.

Is it a red flag?
