Hello! Here we have another French-suited card deck, the Piemontesi. It is a 40-cards deck from the Piedmont region but they're also used in the Aosta Valley, a small French-speaking region in north-western Italy. Three of the four aces have a peculiar wreath-like decoration. This deck is made by Dal Negro, measuring 51x82 mm it is the smallest French-suited deck in Italy.
Hello! Nothing special here, just a deck with pictures of Ireland sold as a souvenir for tourists. Probably not the greatest quality but at least cards aren't made of plastic. Most of the pictures on the cards are beautiful even though some of them look overexposed, but I don't know if it's a printing mistake or the photographer's fault. Despite that I still like it!
Hello! Another regional deck: this time the Milanesi, a French-suited 40-cards deck from Milan, also popular in western Lombardy and Ticino (the main Italian-speaking part of Switzerland and formerly part of the Duchy of Milan). The giant snake swallowing a person on the jack of clubs is a reference to the coat of arms of the Visconti family, dukes of Milan from 1277 until 1447 and still a symbol of the city. This deck is made by Dal Negro. Measurements: 51x91 mm.

Hello! Here we have a French-suited deck, the Toscane. It is a 40-card deck from Tuscany made by Modiano. Unlike Italian and Spanish suited-decks it has queens instead of knights. In some parts of Tuscany bordering with other regions other decks (Genovesi, Romagnole and Piacentine) may be more popular, but in general this is the most used in the region.

Hello! Another Italian regional deck, the Triestine. These cards are popular in the city of Trieste and surrounding area, and also in parts of Slovenia and Croatia. This is a 40 card deck made by Dal Negro, one of the two main card manufacturing companies in Italy (the other one being Modiano), but other makers like Piatnik have their own version. A 52-card deck existed as well but it's no longer in production.
There are proverbs/sayings on the aces and the trump cards are labeled.
These are the proverbs with a rough translation:
Ace of batons: Molte volte le giuocate van finire a bastonate (games very often end in beatings)
Ace of coins: Son gli amici molto rari quando non si ha danari (friends are very rare when you don't have money), but Modiano decks have a different one
Ace of cups: Una coppa di buon vin fa coraggio fa morbin (a cup of good wine makes you brave and merry)
Ace of swords: Il giuoco della spada a molti non aggrada (many dislike the sword's play)
The measurements are 55x100 mm. Like other decks from northern Italy they use the traditional Italian suits (decks from other areas have Spanish or French suits) and have a knight instead of the queen.

This is a 40 card deck made by Dal Negro, one of the two main card manufacturing companies in Italy (the other one being Modiano).
The measurements are 51×103 mm. Like other decks from northern Italy they use the traditional Italian suits (decks from other areas have Spanish or French suits) and have a knight instead of the queen. Not to be confused with the Tarocchino bolognese, a 62-cards tarot deck from the same area.
Hello! Here's another Italian regional deck, the Bresciane. These cards are popular in the city of Brescia and surrounding area, in the Lombardy region. This is a 52 card deck made by Dal Negro, one of the two main card manufacturing companies in Italy (the other one being Modiano).
The measurements are 43×89 mm, a relatively small format. Like other decks from northern Italy they use the traditional Italian suits (decks from other areas have Spanish or French suits) and have a knight instead of the queen. This particular deck is made of plastic instead of the usual multi-layer paper/plastic combination, I don't really like how the cards feel but unfortunately card makers are following this trend of switching to 100% plastic... meh.

This is a 40 card deck but there is also a 52 card variant; made by Dal Negro, one of the two main card manufacturing companies in Italy (the other one being Modiano).
They are relatively big if compared to other Italian cards, measuring 50×94 mm. Like other decks from north-eastern Italy they use the traditional Italian suits (decks from other areas have Spanish or French suits) and have a knight instead of the queen.
The men on the left are Ezio Maria Gray, the Italian special envoy, and Bruno Tamaro, Italian ambassador in Finland. Among the leaders of the IKL there are Vihtori Kosola (the bald one) and Vilho Annala. The Isänmaallinen kansanliike ("Patriotic People's Movement") existed from 1932 to 1944 and was the successor to the Lapua Movement. Picture found on Commons.
The poster was designed by Dante Coscia for the Italian Social Republic, the German puppet government established in the north in 1943 after the Italian government, which had deposed Mussolini, signed an armistice with the Allies. Coscia, along with the better-known Gino Boccasile, was one of the republic's most prominent propagandists.
Hello! Here we have the terrible flag of the Volante Rossa "Martiri Partigiani", a communist terrorist group (with poor artistic skills) active in Italy in the aftermath of WW2. The first picture is a modern PNG rendition of the flag while the second shows the historical version for reference. Both files are found on Commons, here and here.
Hello! Here we have a flea market find: the italian edition of Frameshift by Robert J. Sawyer, published in 1998 in the popular Urania series. The fetus floating in the dark is quite bad but those giant DNA molecules are terrible.
