Some gems from the comment section under a Substack post by “Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans (PITT)”. The author listed eight early warning signs that your child might be in need to be “save[d] from trans”, including starting hormone therapy and changes in voice.
The comments then mention other telltale signs, like D&D and mermaids. And it's the comments where the real action begins, where the strange transphobic alliance of gender-critical “feminists”, conservatives, and right-wing extremists comes into action.
*Red*, who identifies as “gender realist” (she got something wrong here) and pretends to be a mother, not only warns parents of D&D, but also cares a lot about people's right to participate in sports. No, not trans people's right, of course. Israeli athletes' right. Israeli-athletes-who-want-to-make-a-political-statement-in-support-of-their-country's right.
*Red* also notes that trans women tend to be leftists on economic issues, but she doesn't seem to have a clear idea of what communism entails. According to Karl Marx, whom some consider an accepted authority on the subject, communism is a model of social organization in which everyone works “nach seinen Fähigkeiten” (“according to his ability”) and receives goods and services “nach seinen Bedürfnissen” (“according to his needs”). Now that I think about it, I should have chosen another color for *Red*. Well, to be entirely fair to her, a communist society could also decide to require its members to work, even if it's “only” according to their ability.
*Blue* appears to describe themselves as a white person. They have decided that transsexualism disproves the immutable nature of sexual orientation, leaving the reader to wonder how they came to their conclusion, or how you could even string these thoughts together. Even though *Blue* calls themselves an “intellectual liberal”, they are now rejecting the Democratic Party and calling heterosexuality the only healthy form of sexuality. Their homophobic turnaround might have been fueled by a religious awakening, as their last paragraph suggests.
