**\*IF YOU SEE THIS POST UP, SHOOT ME A PM....**

Looking for a good mid-top end plex server with mostly remux content to expand my search, find more like-minded + niche content, NPC (mainstream slop) stuff. Almost all my content is tastefully curated with custom= posters +backgrounds (mostly from posterdb and some created with gemini's help), appropriate labelling/editions , soundtracks for certain movies, hidden easter eggs... even almost all descriptions have release notes (if available) and general info from blu-ray review sites or Source listed. With the sole purpose of best (Trash Guides Tier 1\*) Audio/Video quality over quantity and hunt for the superior source\* (I'm happy playing the waiting game for definitive remasters/restrored 4K/Blu-rays for older stuff from Criterion, Arrow or caertain boutique labels)

*Server:* At the moment server can only handle 2\~3 4K transcodes, waiting on plex to finally supports Battlemage on Unraid for my intel B580!

*Storage:* \~120TB, ran out of case+HDD slots...waiting on the LSI card for further expansion

• 1980s 'Golden Age' Hong Kong action era

• 2000s 'New Wave' Korean era

• 1950s Japanese Golden Age (Kurosawa, Ozu)

• 1950s Vistavision movies• Blockbuster digital era (Late 1970s–Present) • Modern/neo-noir • Newish releases are there, depending on my interest + 4K/bluray availability. • Check the pics to get an idea, its all mixed stuff honestly • good enough collections too...

*TV:*

• Korean/Japanese Dramas...mostly this(BDs when available)

• Goated stuff like Devs, Mr. Robot, Dark, True Detective and many more...(check pics)

• Other niche/mainstream shows...

*Anime:*

• Almost all are BD remuxes + Encodes (Anime trash guides Tier 1\*) with priority to Seadex recs, extras are available for some...

*Documentaries/series:*

• Metal gear solid DVDs

• Group B Rally DVDs

• Werner Herzog stuff

• Tony Zhou' Youtube channel "Every Frame a Painting"

• Ken Burns / World War series

• Mostly super niche nichest stuff like this..

I just put a deposit on a 2027 R9. For context, I'm in Vancouver, so I contacted 6-7 Yamaha dealers near me to ask about the arrival of 2027 models. Most were clueless about final arrival times (spring 2027), but a few did commit to a less daunting November timeline.
